France v England

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

GET IN THERE COME ON ENGLAND!!!!!

GAME ENGLAND!!!!

The Refs Blown 30 seconds Early but it is Game England!!!

Superb second half from England, Superb Effort from the Forwards in the end...

Don't celebrate, this is the worst thing that could happen to England. Now there is no reason for Ashton to remove all the shitty players on your team ;)

Wasn't a classic, but plenty of Crunch. Pity neither side was able to break the line out wide.

England screwed their heads on, and the scrum was a laugh. Good win.

Parra's kind of bossy for a 19 year old.

How **** was Balshaw and why didn't France target him?
Worst player in the 6Nations by miles.

Congrats England

Thanks for Wilkinson's words on French TV, hope all French public will have the same patience and encouragement for the coach team

I shoudn't have drunk this 5 O'clock tea...

Who is the favourite to win the Six Nations now? [/b]

Wales have the momentum, definitively. But basing on their first halves against England, Scotland and Italy I'm not so confident about a win against France or even Ireland.... but now that France has nothing to lose, there will be a massive turnovers in the team, so don't expect a full force French side in the Millenium.

Maybe England, finally...

I'd still back the French, they'll cut loose against Italy and they love going to the Millennium Stadium, plus I'm not sure if Wales will get the win in Dublin which should give France the points difference over England/Ireland.

That's the beauty of the Six Nations, four teams still competing for the championship.

Obviously though if Wales win in Dublin the championship should be their's regardless of what happens against the French.

Great result for England! Vainikolo is being totally unused in offence which is starting to annoy me, and please for god sake get rid of Balshaw. Massive confidence booster for England, but unfortunately Wales were the performers of the day for me.

BALSHAW!!!! **"&"$&&"( "%)"%)_"%_*(

I feel a little better now, what a *** - even having a go at a forward for not catching the ball over his shoulder while trying to cover ballsup coming forward to take it.

Why oh why oh why? That French hooker needs a hiding too, cheap headbutt on Regan.

As good as it is to win I'm not exactly over the moon because we should have a new manager & let the young 'uns get some game time before 2011.

Well done England - they most definately deserved to win that game. :bravo:

I think Parra did great for a 19 year old without much international experience. Perhaps he was a bit too bossy and slowed things down too much though? England never really looked bothered by the French backs.. perhaps because they were given too much time to regroup?

I love the French style of play - running with the ball, but I think there are times where that just does not work. Running from their 5m line with something like 4 mins to go is just... The forwards also need to work on their scrums as that's 3 matches in a row they've been dominated. They get those two points locked down and I think we'll see great things from this French team. Plenty of time to do that before 2011 :)

Anyway - it's suddenly made this tournament that much more exciting, can't wait for the next set of matches :)

Our scrum is ****, Australia look a like.

And too much faults... I didn't like Laporte but he brings a strong discipline to our team. 3 months later, we're back in the 90's...

I'm tired of losing against England, who's certainly gonna lose by +20 in Ireland in two weeks. Same old story ! [/b]

Good game England, you certainly deserved this one. I don't remember which french guy said the english would try to drag us down to their level, but i feel that's exactly what they did. Nothing to say against that win anyway. All in the strong yet boring english style. But who cares when they win.
I'm very disappointed. Losing to the English is becoming a silly habit. And worse than that, I don't think I saw anything positive about our match. If anyone has, please tell me. Maybe Parra-not-playing-too-shitty but who cares. I'm still expecting a genious move from Heymans or Rougerie but I guess it's not gonna happen now the match is over :wall:
Funny feeling, reminds me of the semi-final but without the pressure, so it makes it a little pointless.

Questions:

How come Wilko misses kicks, but only the ones that don't matter?

How come he's so good against the french anyway?

How come the french commentators always point out the English front row cheating and it is ours that gets penalized a dozen times?

How come Didier Retieres is so ugly? (he was my coach when i was 16 playing in Dijon, true story)

How come I feel we are soon going to miss Laporte  ?

:ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting:

It must be said that France challenged all the way and were full of adventure for most of the 80 minutes. Worthy opponents.
