Everyone does, but it's not as bad as you think at all.
Worst you'll get is: When you take your socks off you'll have a line where the elastic has cut in to you.

I've used it a fair bit (using it now, in fact) and the bloating isn't noticeable other than the above. On the scales you may be a couple of pounds heavier due to water weight, but you won't see it on you.
 
I see so I shouldn't lose much definition then?


In respect to shedding the water weight for a fight or contest how quickly can one drop it?
 
No idea, never really kept tabs on my weight before. They say that if you take a week off it's completely out of your system, so shouldn't be too long - couple of days with some extra cardio to sweat it out?

I f***ing hate when journals/articles online don't have an "Export citation" link. I'm so used to using Endnote to sort my citing out I really hate having to do it all manually these days.

Nice single leg at 0:16; first armbar attempt from mount was a bit rushed, but otherwise good sub in the end. :D If the red guy was you, then good defence otherwise, and a bit rushed to try and get top control towards the end which led to the armbar. But I understand being on bottom for 2mins is not the best. Good action from bottom though, with guillotine and triangle attempts.

Just watched the video - looks like a load of fun! I have a feeling there's a BJJ gym/club in the town near my village (there was one opening before I started uni anyway), will have to look in to it when I move back at the end of the month.
