Kindly indulge my curiosity: would you say something similar if, dunno, NZ and RSA played a TRC game? Assume same settings (weekday, midnight, you have no skin in the game, etc).
Or would you go the extra mile (go to a pub, pay a subscription, go to a friend's, etc) to watch the game?

Feel free to pick other two teams if that makes the scenario more comparable. Just pick two that dont happen to be the team you support.

Bearing in mind I get up at five in the morning to go running, I'm not staying up until two in the morning to watch any sport, even if it was England. I'd probably only subscribe if there was a tournament where I was going to get what I'd consider to be some value out of it, or if there was some form of pay per view where I wasn’t subsidising sports I can’t abide.

Yeh I know. And it will be the biggest choke in history if we lose 13 points and Arsenal win all of their games in hand.
