Euros 2024 - Germany

But they still go through on pens without Mbappé on the field. All great pens.

He didn't give much in open play. I remember at least once a fantastic cross going in and Ronaldo being at least 2 metres behind the cross. He gestated that the cross was off but it wasn't, he was just too slow

Trippier apparently playing at right wing back. 😢

Nope he's back at left back. 🤦‍♂️

Bellingham too busy down faking a head injury to be involved in a very promising attack happening around him

That's everything that's wrong with football, really

Gonna be pens.

Toney
Palmer
Saka
Bellingham
Trent

Should take pens and score. Just need Pickford to save a few.

England v Netherlands semi it is. Turkey really unlucky.

Isn't this what's also happening in rugby at the slightest head contact?

Is this the way to go all the way to the final? Now we know psychologically England have at least 5 outstanding, nerveless penalty takers and goalie who can save. And the remaining teams left have dodgy penalty records.

In terms of on field football justice the best team so far has been Spain (5/5 wins/Nations league winners). But stranger things have happened.

Good day at the office for Saka. Scores a cracking equaliser and exorcises a few penalty shoot out demons which will be a nice middle finger to those racist keyboard warriors from a few years ago.
