I gave him the benefit of the doubt but you are right. This is something i genuinely do not get. I put myself in the shoes of the tmo and i dont get it. Imagine he says "i see shoulder to head. That is a red, isn't it?" and that's it. He did his job, made the right call, but gave (as he should) the final call to the ref. Rest is up to the ref.
And if the ref asks you (some do) "do we all agree" with something you dont, just say bloody "no".

I think that's a bit of a joke of a statement mate. 90% of clear outs of jackals are by grabbing the body and rolling, or by lifting the legs. You saw it for every other turnover that game. What you can't do is fly in full force and shoulder someone in the head.

He literally has his whole body leaning on other players on the floor. The clear out is the only way you will move him. You can't jackle someone in that position.

And it is a very serious statement, you look at the problems players are having who have retired (and the NFL issues). There is no way to play rugby without heavy contact.
