EOYT: Wales v Samoa, 16/11/2012

i can't argue the result the samoans were as physical as expected. wales were as flat and dull as they were last week. bring on the big boys next !

Well done Samoa deserved, hard luck Wales.

It's not hard luck, we are utter bull****.
Yet again, the best side won. We are ****ing ****, total ****ing ****.

I knew this **** would happen when Gatland was announced. I detest the Lions.

another huge road upset these Samoans...
I can't believe it. So now basically France has to face two teams that have beaten our 6N Grand Slammers..........

Fantastic game, one of the best we've had recently...WHAT - FKNG - SUSPENSE !!
I'm sorry Wales lost it though, I feel for you guys...it's just a silly slope, there'll be more to cheer about sooner than we think.
And mega ultra uber props to Samoa.

Wales are lucky to have lost only by 7 points. Samoa were better at everything tonight, and were especially 10 times fitter and stronger. That interception try was about the only thing Wales showed in attack. Fantastic intensity by Samoans, going after everything and pushing forward all the time which was rewarded by that last try. Congratulations Samoa, great game!

Yeah but I didn't wanna just come right out and say it.

It was total shambles, but Rhys Priestland was awful. Kicked away all decent possession in good positions. We might have had a chance if Biggar stayed on, even crocked.
Jarvis was outmanned, but he is second choice at a club, surely we need more tightheads and this simply isn't his level?

Yeah but I didn't wanna just come right out and say it.

Understand and appreciate it mate.

Just fyi, I'm not (after this one) not posting again on this thread till Monday at least, have a feeling its going to attract posts that will wind me up.

I'm forever grateful that the All Blacks coach never really rated Kahn over Ellis.

Samoa are in the midst of a truly special cycle for them. An absolute dismantling last week of Canada and then a great performance tonight. The intensity they are bringing to these matches is unbeleivable, they are leaving teams shell shocked right at the start of matches. It seems they've improved their discipline and technique finally and have made that extra step up. If they can maintain this for three years they could be a darkhorse to cause serious trouble for the Tier Ones in 2015.

thats why i love island there's always an upset on the cards.. that was tremendous win Manu Samoa.. come on IRB how many upsets do you need!!!

Not sure Howley is all to blame. Gatland would have had his say with one eye on next week. One of the best attacking back lines has gone awol. One of the better ball stealing teams is losing at the breakdown and the scrum fell apart in the last 20mins. Seems the other coaches are as much to blame to me.

I wanted Wales to come out firing, and back on some degree of form with attacking rugby and it was terrible. Great game to watch and all credit to Samoa with the well deserved win.

Yeah, Howley is bad, but has he really ****ed our players over this quickly?
We looked, surprise surprise, remarkably like our regions.

Based on the IRB rankings calculator on this website ( http://www.lassen.co.nz/pagmisc.php ) Wales might be outside the top 8 when the ranking are announced next week.
Assuming I've put the numbers in right obviously. Feel free to correct me/shout me down if I'm wrong.
If you click through on the image there should be a screenshot of some sort.

hey, I don't care what your moral is right now Wales, you're still the defending Grand Slam champs. You came off a HUGE RWC showing, in every game there; yeah you didn't win one in Australia but you got ridiculously close in two, sadly ppl just look at the win column only but you were far from dominated on the road this June. Argentina as everybody knows is the hungriest team in rugby these days and with this game it follows about the same pattern. Inconsistency, being subjected to the opponents' rhythm...
It sucks but it happens.

We'll see how well Wales responds against the AB's.

Samoa were so so much better than Wales (except in kicking) it was crazy. Well done Samoa, much deserved!

Wales should have won the WC when they could... I love the fact that Samoa's beating one of the best nations in the world.. I hate that it has to be the one i really like

Not sure if trolling or not.

Ha the irony is, I think he's awful most of the time when he plays for the Ospreys, yet he was outstanding today.

Most frustrating thing about the last two games, can't even complain about a few small decisions that could have gone this was or that (like out in Aus). We simply were 2nd best and both Argentina and Samoa were far better than us. What on earth has happened?! We've gone from being in a position to compete for a spot in the top tier of selection for the RWC2015 pools to struggling to not drop into the 3rd tier. Lucky Samoa didnt beat us by over 15 or we'd be there already.
