That makes more sense actually and makes it a better side, so Dala, Hearn (both had knocks last week) and March are left out of the side.

Are you still on the East coast of the States Toko? I think it's 5 a.m. also there that the game starts.
Yup New England... But i think Time difference is 9 hours and the game starts 16:30 Tbilisi time so at least where I am its going to be 16.5-9=7.5, so 7:30. If southeast Canada uses the same time zone it will also be 7:30 since daylight savings ended last week.

New Georgia shirt released for the game.

Oh OK, I had read the game was going to start at 14:00 GET, but now seen it's been moved up as well, this is good news for Canadian fans so I don't have to wake up at like 5:00 a.m,.

Any word on the expected attendance for this match?

The correct game time has been added to all posts guys, not sure why we were getting an incorrect time from Rugby Canada and other sources(was the kickoff moved?), it is 7:30 a.m. EST and 4:30 a.m. PST. Regardless it's a better time for basically all Canadian viewers with the possible exception of B.C. where it's kind of crappy either way.

Just went one the Georgia rugby federation website. It didn't say anything about number of tix sold but it did show the prices and tickets are less than a euro / dollar.

Highest price for the ticket is 3 Lari = $1.80 lowest price is 1 lari = 60cents, that is very cheap even by Georgian standards for comparison on Basketball and Football games prices are from $6 up to $40.. this is mainly caused by rugby games being held very early.. this 4:30pm schedule is the latest time i remember on a rugby game whereas Football and Basketball are played after dark Hence the demand is higher.

Pictures from final pre game practice, I love the black jerseys with red collar and borjgali outline they should use black just like good old times, Canadian Red/black also looks really nice. eacdf3bf6064ed84517d7cdab1e8a3de_129463.jpg 61fcd763d9298f2db39e020e71b788ea_129450.jpg 72c1f9ed04c5bab5dcdae6e021aab0a8_129458.jpg5e8dd7baadb28946395675b9ca7c43c8_129436.jpgcc22b2b2d818bb855b322587843d4379_129433.jpg

Damn that's crazy cheap! I'm pretty sure tickets for the Canada/Maori game were between $30-$200 depending on the seats. Does anyone know if the Canada/Georgia game is sold out yet?

Why even bother selling tickets at such a low price? Free entrance would make more sense.

How much were the tickets for the ENC matches?

usually t was free for ENC but last year i think was 60 cents.. its just enough to pay off for the Stadium rent GRU doesn't get any money from it really.

If it were free on a 4000 seater you would probably get 10000 people wanting to enter... you always get 10000 people on a rugby game that's like a minimum, on an average game held at one of the central stadiums 17 thousand is considered a bad attendance. However in ENC numbers have been getting lower because it has become repetitive competition-less tournament in the peoples eyes. Hope there will be more fans next year after Draw with Romania last time kept some intrigue in it.

I personally remember in 2000-2005 Georgia-Romania and Georgia-Russia fixtures used to get almost full house at 55k Dinamo Arena, the atmosphere was just amazing.

CDN_Rugby

Georgia-Canada will be played on that same 55k seater I doubt it will sell out on any event in the near future.
Georgia-USA 4k
Georgia-Samoa 35K
That should give you a sign on which game is of the highest priority for the Georgians

Exactly, there is a cost to opening a stadium even within daylight hours where you don't have to run lights you have to pay for ushers, security, janitors etc.

South African Lourens van der Merwe will serve as referee in his seventh test.

hehe IRB trolls at their best
