EOYT: England vs South Africa, 24/11/2012

****s sake. We're going to be 9 - 6 behind now - and how!? South Africa never had to work for those points. If we can't come up with an intelligent attacking game then we need someone to win the tactical kicking game for us. At the moment we have neither of the two, and in that respect we're shafted

Isn't Corbs scrumming technique illegal? He's not scrumming straight, driving inwards. Obviously I know part of being a good prop is to know all the wily techniques and to use them when they aren't being policed but I feel it could be managed better.

Yup - if he gets pinged for it he'll change, but he ain't so he won't.
Like you said: Most props will try and get away with as much as the ref will let them.

Edit: Comedy of errors results in a Willem Alberts try.

Thank God Floods gone - utter utter pants. We should lack the abilty to come back from 10 points - we just can't play fluid running rugby. Bearing in mind Floods gone off I would personally put Goode into 10, Brown to 15... no use for Farrell.

Etzebeth trying to twist Tom Woods head off in that maul.

He's really doing his best to fill the void left by Botha and Burger, by acting an absolute dick.

Ashton should've just backed himself - may not have made it but he had Tuilagi and Brown near enough to support a ruck. The drift was going towards Brown so Ashton could've gone straight.

Watching England, like Wales, you think every time they get into an attacking position is "who will f**k it up this time"

Ashton should've just backed himself - may not have made it but he had Tuilagi and Brown near enough to support a ruck. Brown had more defenders around him so was never going to make it.

Completely agree - JP Pietersen didn't no what Ashton was doing so was static - Ashton could have gone straight through.

Had Sharples been playing I'm fairly sure he'd have scored that in the corner
