interested to see what the team selection will be like for this game. as some of the main england starting 15 could be involved with the premiership final. also charteris, jon davies and a few others will not be available for wales.

post your team line ups here ^_^

I'd guess there'll be some fringe players/debutants given a shot by Jones, so will be interesting to see who they are. I hope Kvesic is one.

England's line up will be heavily dictated by which two teams get through to the final, imo, which makes it very hard to predict.

A Pests-Sarries final (to pick an example) would be particularly interesting, as that's England's second row and loosehead stocks kicked very hard in the balls.

Reckon Mike Ford planned the season with this game in mind, was determined that George would start against Wales!

Will this team be chosen from the Brighton training squad only, or from every available player?

Just as a reminder if not, here's the Brighton squad:

Forwards: Dave Attwood, Kieran Brookes, Jack Clifford, Charlie Ewels, Dylan Hartley, Teimana Harrison, Paul Hill, Matt Kvesic, Courtney Lawes, Joe Marler, Chris Robshaw, Kyle Sinckler, Tommy Taylor.

Backs: Mike Brown, Luther Burrell, Danny Care, Danny Cipriani, Ollie Devoto, George Ford, Jonathan Joseph, Mike Haley, Alex Lewington, Semesa Rokoduguni, Anthony Watson, Marland Yarde, Micky Young.

Well given Marler's withdrawal, it's impossible for the squad to be drawn from the Brighton training squad only.

That bit of pedantry aside, I don't think there's official word on it, but I'd be very surprised if he didn't draw on the squads of those who were knocked out. Even before Marler left, there was still a specialist loosehead missing from the training squad.

The best scenario is a Leicester vs Wasps final . That way we can have all of our main guys in . I really hope we are able to pick Slade even though I'd love to see Exeter in the final as well . A Sarries vs Exeter final would be simply terrible !

I for one am hoping for a Leicester vs Exeter final. Not because I think Exeter have more of a chance of winning but just because I think it would be a more enjoyable game of rugby. I think the only player England would really miss from Exeter would be Nowell. Slade has a huge future for England (at 10 in my opinion) as well as LCD and Ewers but we have managed without them so far so it shouldn't be a huge issue at the moment. In a years time however it could be a different story. I think a lack of Sarries players would be good for English development, given their dominance within the squad, but like I said, I'm hoping that Leicester win on Saturday!

Has EJ said that he will include losing semi-finalists in the Wales match? His rhetoric has always been about picking the best 23 on the day so I suppose it makes sense that he would.

That traditionally is what has happened with fixtures of the like, so I see no reason why he wouldn't

From the looks of it sarries are definitely in the final

Be interesting to see what happens now, then - their forwards are arguably our most important players.
If Wasps win then we're really boned.

Mullan/??? + Waller ---> Mako + Marler
LCD/Taylor ---> George
Launch/Attwood + Lawes ---> Krutoje
Harrison ---> Binny
Clifford --> Haskell
Slade/Burrell --->Farrell
Haley/Roko ---> Daly

You do remember Launch plays for Wasps, right...?

That's why I put "/Attwood" :p
Same with "Mullan/???"

Also LCD/Taylor and Slade/Burrell - cause Chiefs might make the final.

But why have Daly and Haskell completely on the other side... you confuse me.

Anyway, I'd say its pretty clear that Sarries-Pests would be the worst, there's only one Exeter player in a full strength England 23 at the moment, with Marler out there's at least three from Pests and two of them mirror the Sarries contingent we'd miss. I'm expecting Exeter to win though, so should be fine, although raises some interesting questions about 12 if Tuilagi is injured and Slade and Fazlet both playing the final.

Most importantly, if it's a Sarries-Wasps final, surely Kvesic will finally get a game against Wales?

6. Robshaw 7. Clifford 8. Harrison
6. Robshaw 7. Kvesic 8. Clifford

Wonder which is more likely?

Because I didn't want to name them as potentials and also replaced players
I looked at the side we put out in the last 6N game and listed all the Sarries n wasps guys

There was some logic, at least in my eyes

My guess is this combo is more likely to start.

Wasps can't get anything right - we're gonna be stuck with Haskell at 7 now

So now we know that Leics and Wasps players will be available too.

Added to Training squad means Eddie can choose from these :-

Forwards: Dave Attwood, Kieran Brookes, Jack Clifford, Dan Cole, Charlie Ewels, Dylan Hartley, Teimana Harrison, James Haskell, Paul Hill, Matt Kvesic, Joe Launchberry, Courtney Lawes, Matt Mullan, Chris Robshaw, Kyle Sinckler, Tommy Taylor.

Backs: Mike Brown, Luther Burrell, Danny Care, Danny Cipriani, Elliot Daly, Ollie Devoto, George Ford, Jonathan Joseph, Mike Haley, Alex Lewington, Semesa Rokoduguni, Manu Tualagi, Anthony Watson, Marland Yarde, Micky Young, Ben Youngs.

Now pick a side.
