Launchbury does
Launchbury does
Launchbury doesn't have the pace of Croft to start with, and Croft hasn't played anywhere near as much high level lock as Launch, it's not really that comparable to be fair
Aye, but I'm a dick.Very true but you brought Launchbury up
Aye, but I'm a dick.
You know it, i know it, we all know it.
And we all ****ing love it.
Whilst some people exaggerate a lack of tight work, he's not exactly in the top tier of international 6s for it either, and it stuck out in a time when we had a fairly plodding pack.I know it'd be boring and stupid if we said "Coach picked him, must be good", but the level of scorn seen for a two-time Lion with 40 England caps is pretty bizarre, and the unwillingness of some people to sit down and consider why so many pro coaches have rated him even more so. If he's still fit and in form come this spring, someone should have to be really going that extra yard to be in front of him.
****, that's not good - think he could've cemented the starting spot by the end of the 6N.
So Cole starting and.....Thomas? Wilson? on the bench?
Wilson's barely playing for his club, and I still have major reservations over Thomas (he's been binned for **** scrummaging this season, hasn't he?).
He is VERY good.
I prefer him to Simpson, as his basics are better.
Think that we'll have Care, Simpson and one of Wigglesworth and Simpson, though.
But seriously said:He cant be dropped if he hasn't been picked. Slate wiped clean and all that.
Its Care for me at the moment, looking back to his sharpest best. If Chudley carries on like he is hes certainly going to put himself in with a chance..
