Yeah, I'd call him up for IFW and Carpenter up for Furbank
Lots of people calling for Ibitoye but his defence is just too bad, for me, to outweigh his attacking talent

Freeman won't be dropped, he's literally SBs star pupil. He's also not turned a poor player overnight and isn't out of form.

Just a really good all rounder
Doesn't really have a USP like Steward in the air or the playmaking of Furbank, but doesn't really have any weaknesses either
Reminds me a bit of Ben Foden
Wouldn't be against De Glanville being in the mix, but would have them both ahead of Hodge and Hendy (and Daly and Malins, if they're fit by the 6N)

Yeah i agree.
It would be inexperienced going in to a 6n..starting with Ireland, but id go with this...assuming Furbank and Waboso are out.

Dan still has to improve some basics, but watching him yesterday, he is very very good with ball in hand. Really dynamic and doing things like accelerating on to the ball which seems to be beyond the wit of most. Lucky to get a central contract now, but I can understand why Borthwick wants him to succeed.
He is great, unfortunately he hasn't got two good props to help in scrums.
ATM, the England team are suffering overall because of a few positions we are weak in.
Compromises then gave to happen.

Based upon the AIs, I'd imagine Roebuck is ahead of Murley, but it depends what we want from our wingers.
Murley's playing style is probably most similar to IFW's in terms of coming off his wing to 'look for work' and strength in contact, but given Sleightholme has come in and done well, he is the obvious choice for IFW's replacement. Roebuck is closer in style (and size) to Freeman.
Carpenter is definitely putting himself in the mix.

Feyi-Waboso's injury an unwelcome setback for England
Immanuel Feyi-Waboso's shoulder injury scare is another potential back-three setback for England, following on from the news that George Furbank could miss the start of the Six Nations.
The Exeter wing is awaiting medical updates on his damaged shoulder, days after it emerged that Henry Arundell is heading home from Racing 92 at the end of the season, to join Bath. He was the new flier who seemed destined to take the world by storm before having to find a new club in a hurry when London Irish went bust and ending up in Paris, which left him off-limits for Test selection.
His plan to relocate to the West Country is a shrewd one which can reignite his flagging form in a deadly Bath back line marshalled by Ben Spencer and Finn Russell. If the deal is confirmed in the coming weeks, perhaps there could be justification to allow Arundell to be picked in the Six Nations.
That would seem like a common-sense option ā which makes it unlikely. If he is still off-limits and Feyi-Waboso is sidelined, Tommy Freeman, Ollie Sleightholme and Tom Roebuck will vie for the wing places. At least there are options, unlike at outside centre, where there are a dearth of new, surging contenders.
Fortunately wing is one of our strongest positions...and sad as it is we lose Waboso...we have players who can come in and thrive.

Is it? Lots of options / potential, but very few anywhere near time proven international level pedigree. Even IFW and Freeman who seem to be clear first choices don't have that many games under their belts.
Much more sanguine that I ever was on this. The rules are what they are and if they've been properly complied with and the player's contributed well to the domestic game then that's OK. (Especially if they wear 12).
Would prefer otherwise, but that's the world we live in.
