So true what he(HB AJ) said about South Africans still playing the game(Rugby 08') all the time...Guys here have kept there PS2 consoles for years just to keep playing Rugby 08. Glad the screenshots are not a true reflection of the Visual Quality of the game; was really getting me a bit worried. Well Done HB Studios and 505 Games, keep up the hard and passionate work!!

That may be, but if I'm able to edit the names, attributes and to a certain degree faces, then I won't be that unhappy with this.

I think they know it'd be a hugely bad move to not have a reasonable degree of customisation in this. So many people are worried they only have world cup and international teams, that if that's the case they would've had a lot more time to incorporate a decent editor.

Not worried about a Creator...my main concern was being able to Edit attributes, because in Rugby 08' there were world Class International players (BJ Botha; Deon Carstens, etc) rated around 50?!?1!?!? Would also be very cool if we could Edit stuff like armgaurds/Tape, sock height; Boots and stuff like that. I just want to make it as True to Real life as Possible when i play; i enjoy it a lot more that way.

Great news !! Now HB studios have the foundation to build a rugby franchise I hope they expand out into a management style sim similar to pro rugby manager by cyanide games, I loved that game and something like this would bring real longevity ! Surely it isnt a huge step to this style of game now they have the player rights.

Doesn't mean we aren't quite competitive. Just consider that both sides are approaching the "rivalry" in the spirit of good sportsmanship.

Im happy that both teams are looking at each others work, That way they can say 'They have done that better than us, Lets improve on that'. Hopefully we will get 2 better games from it.

Iv'e played rugby challenge before, and it doesn't come close to rugby 06 or 08. Im proud to stand with HB. Rugby challenge is not even registering South Africa, that is really dumb considering we are the current WC champions. I really hope HB studios are going to make rugby games more often now, because there are alot of rugby game fans, i'm 1 of them and will defnitely buy them every year!!
