I've spent the last 3 months in Peru going 'quando quieras mamita' to chicks, thanks to this song. This is what happens when you teach a cheeky motherf***er how to be extra cheeky in a foreign language. Dos mas cervazas corazon!

Juanes - La Camisa Negra[/b]
Good, 7/10. Bit too foot tappy. And what's with the stick insects?

Just heard this today, mad lyrics but good rhythm and brass:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fS0hwTGMRM

Oh yeah, welcome back. Tried to keep it going in your absence and ended up talking to myself.
[/b][/quote]

i not only talked but sung to myself a lot, very loud, having lost my ipod after 2 weeks. That made me very grumpy.

hmm 5/10 bit too poppy for my liking, although she has a good voice.

Thievery Corporation - Satyam Shivam Sundaram

Didn't really get where it was going and if it was meant to be an ambiatic music of sorts then I've heard similar things done better.

Though I flicked through some of their other Youtuve available stuff and some of it was quite cool. 5.13/10

This is God is an Astronaut whom I stumbled across at Oxegen and they wee very good live.

Sounds good. 3/4. Prefer Tangerine Dream.

Michael Jackson is in it. I'm fed up of him. Funniness brings it up from a 1 to a 4/10.

Very catchy song from Daron Malakian:
Scars On Broadway - They Say

Sounded so much like System of a Down I went and checked straight away and no surprises to find that there's a big fat link between the two.

Sounded like a really good System song though. 8/10

Like it, don't understand it. 7/10. Music is headed back in time - this is circa 1982?

I posted the Pink Panther theme a few weeks ago. Didn't realise Mancini did this as well - genius:

obviously a 10/10.

Won't load for some reason.

That's OK. Since we have such "similar" tastes in music, I'm sure you're thinking of this:

p.s. Mancini did do this one, but not the Bond theme - written by Monty Norman, arranged by John Barry.

You know, I'm thinking that actually sounds better when an orchestra does it live. Sounds a bit more lively... 5.999/10

Sticking with the theme http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_WERPN8KO8[/b]
 10/10. Expecting the Red Army to come marching through any second.

Best literal video of all time?

9/10. could never be quite as good as bond.

THe Prodigy - Warrior's Dance

Must confess that I'm not all that impressed with the new prodigy stuff (at least compared to Jilted Generation and Fat of the Land). While it's still 100 fold better then most of what we hear in the charts now, it's got nothing compared to classics like Voodoo People or Breathe.

6/10 but Forgettable

Chicane - Saltwater

Hmmm, don't really know where to place this. It started nicely, fell apart, then ended ok. I'm not really into the genre, but yeah. Reminded me a lot of Robert Miles for some reason.

5/10

Bok van Blerk - De La Rey

A nice Afrikaans song for all you British boys to be reminded...

I've never known what that song's name is or who it's by!

Still always been annoyed that the interlude bit in the middle isn't managed all that well.

7/10

I love this tune, here's the full lenght one (not the stupid shortened down one for radio and tv)

Ok, Funny South African song that I didn't understand the lyrics sounded slightly like an old Eurovision song. Got kinda catchy from 3:30 onwards. 6/11. Not sure why though

I think we went through a whole page of acoustic guitarists and flamenco style players a few pages back in this thread. This guy wasn't as a great as some of the earlier guys if you ask me 5/10.

But you did remind me that I just missed these guys playing in Cork just a couple of weeks ago :(.
