I am looking for any advice or articles on how to safely teach first contact in Rugby?

There are loads of videos on the rfu YouTube channel. If you are in the uk you can do the rfu coaching courses (although they are mostly rubbish).

If you've played, you can also teach how you were taught.

I coach under 9s and we've successfully had our kids go from non contact into player their first game last week and mostly tackling well.
