both finalists are 5/6 now...I had the RojoMierda to got through last night at 5/2. I've just lumped on them to win it but layed off on Milan so I can't lose. Ordinarily I'd let your ******** team buy my new Everton kit for me :

I am jealous of your success...same way you are jelaous of Utd & Chelsea's.
Jealousy and schadenfreude are just part of the being a footy fan. It's only self-righteous bell-ends who don't admit it.
David Moyes is a better manager than Benitez....relatively speaking.

I am Jealous of United's and Chelsea Success in the Premiership but that is all... United and Chelsea are Jealous of our Success in Europe....

That is, thankfully, the end of a horrendous 24 hours for me. I have had a vested interest in both the games and I am delighted that results went our way. It's always nice to reach a final and watch the team you hate the most in the world crash and burn spectacularly in the other semi final.
We were absolutely brilliant last night, and but for some great goalkeeping and the woodwork as well as some dubious officiating, we would have won by more than one on the night. Maybe then RBS would give us the credit we're due.
Thankfully, the Mancs crashed out, so I can go to Athens and relax and not worry about being stabbed to death. We might well lose to Milan, but I don't know any AC Milan fans....
It will be this fictional £100 million transfer budget defecit that Schmeigel is always banging on about.
(And FWIW I think Moyes has done an outrageously good job at Everton.)

Simple...relatively speaking he has achieved more.
Moyes took over a side that was on the brink of relegation and had been that way for years....under his stewardship, and with every saleable asset strip from his team, he managed to break the top four monopoly and break into the Champions League echelons.
Raffa took a perennial Champions League side, spent tonnes, and has marked time...for each penalty shoot-out win there is a Burnley or a Crystal Palace or an Arsenal youth.

Im sorry but there was no outclassing tonight, neither team played well just United played worse than Milan.
How many fans have Man United killed? Then how many have Liverpool?
Your a cup team mate and a crap one at that. I can see 5 in midfield in the final and some more penalty shootouts. Its a knockout competition it is no way to judge a season or talent. When a team dominates a league containg 38 games then they have done well not when they get through a couple of rounds in europe.

Poor play by Utd. terrible effort. Hienze was a bloody turnstile. the guy kept giving the ball back. Vidic shouldnt have been out there, hes still not fit. was Scholes even playing?? i cant recall him doing anything of note. we just turned the ball over way too much with aimless passing.
good work by Milan. both Milan and Liverpool deserve to be in athens. im not sure who will win though... im leaning towards Milan. mainly because they seem more capable infront of goal. but who knows... liverpool are starting to carve out a reputation as cup winners.
if only they could become a contender in the premiership... i think Rafa is sending them in the right direction though...
