Don't let the rugby spoil the great family reunion next week..............!!

Tekori. Monster.

Okay. Toulouse seem back to their old ways. It was simply comical for most of the match how they had basically no team structure at the breakdown and lost the ball basically in every single ruck. Great moves individually from the Nyanga, Picamoles, David, Fickou, Médard, Bézy, Doussain, Flynn...etc...but a mistake bound to happen eventually. That Harinordoquy fk up really should've been 7 points for sure, though. Lucky to get away with so few points conceded, Toulouse. On this Sunday, they can go back to church tonight and thank the good Lord a certain Yosefa Tekori was wearing black tonight, only thing going at the breakdown and saved them lots and lots of points. Doussain's a forward. His best play tonight was a big turnover on the ground and his defense. Glasgow must really have a shiitty scrum if Toulouse looked dominant at points.
A win's a win, but in terms of content this is very worrying for Toulouse. The only things that worked collectively was the defense, and even that.....and then their willingness and ability to put some volume on attack, as usual. Tonight, really horrible conclusions to all their movements.
They're not going anywhere in Europe with that pack, though. Need to tweak and adjust that badly.

if it wasn't for Joe Tekori great work at the rucks then Glasgow would have certainly scored about 2 or 3 more tries early on. But on the other hand Glasgow relied it too much on the forwards which was probably why Joe Tekori was winning those turn overs in the ruck as the Glasgow forwards weren't quick to the rucks. The Glasgow backs were great today this game was lost by Glasgow because off the forwards, the scrum especially. I think Glasgow might still have a chance to still get far in Europe if they sort they're pack out.

But the game for Glasgow overall, Backs were pretty good, Forwards need quite a-bit off work to do, Russell I think got lucky with the yellow card.

We won without a fly-half. Amazing. Both Mc Alister and Flood are injured. Bézy did the job, full mark to him :good:

Bézy is definitely one to keep for the future. That kid's *good*.
But I expect much, much better from Toulouse next week.

what is it about this club when they have one knee on the ground opponent still can't win? this was a Toulouse team for the taking. Last year it was Doussain doing the job at 10 agst Saracens. Now young Bézy. Both are scrum-halves played out of position, but coached by Noves. Even the bad luck of losing both fly-halves doesn't upset the team.

What dya need to get a win bros, Noves at fullback?

same thing that's kept the xv de France in matches. Individual quality (and in Toulouse's case, their big bucks).

their big bucks? well Doussain and Bézy are both products from the club. So not this time.

getting the best out of a 22 yo playing out of position in a tight european game? it's called c-o-a-c-h-i-n-g

they don't know how to do that in Marccroupis

Doussain the flanker and Bézy are products of the club, but Harinordoquy, Picamoles, Tekori, Corey Flynn, Maestri, Census J, Yann David, Nyanga...etc...I'm talking about those guys ;)

And coaching ?? I wouldn't mention coaching too much on this match thread in particular when Toulouse looked like an absolute farce with their pack and at the breakdown throughout as the most incoherent collective play in the Top 14. They're lucky their individualities came to the rescue and secured an all-important home win !

This was Toulouse 100th victory in Europe :bravo:

They won the breakdown battle. Twas a collective effort. I singled out Bézy because he was playing out of position and bossed the game well with 100% kicking. Yes it's all about coaching.

 some nerve using that word tonight !! :D
Congrats to Toulouse. That's 100 wins in like 140 something Euro matches.

yes it is particularly apt tonite. We played without a fly-half and with 2 SH. And to get a solid performance out of an inexperienced but talented 22 yo out of position, that's all down to coaching :)

I don't expect anything next week. The team tops the pool. An ugly win or a draw or BP will do.

We should have a 10 back for next important game v Montpellier in Top 14

We will prepare next week with the Montpellier game in mind. Looks like Flood might be fit again before Mc Alister.

it may do for Montypellier, sure, but that form they've been on for two straight weekends sure won't do for later on in both seasons, it isn't down to halfback play. Toulouse beeeeeeetter pull their shiit together soon, that much is clear like morning pis$.

Can we all watch the language? A swear now and then happens, but some members are doing it every post and trying to get around the star-machine. It's not that we are trying to be Mary Whitehouse clones, but it doesn't look great when our recent post display is full of expletives.

Some have been warned before, so consider this the final word.

Really?

It does the job fine so far. We're topping the pool. Montpellier have bigger problems and they're not missing 2 fly-halves.

Looks like you'd better pull it together too sonny boy...

 where's that from, some thread 2 months ago ?? And fine I'll tone down, don't have a choice.

ahh I see you're playing ostrich today. Particularly, more than other days  All is well, top of the pool (top of the pool for a nice big plongeon and landing flat on your stomach ?? ;) ), Toulouse have survived playing without a specialist 10 at home, thumbs up, all is good...
and about missing flyhalves, this is quite ironic ! Montypellerionni are missing the one guy who when he went down with a screwed tibia they haven't won a game since !!! Don't think Tobé Floude is that important, and no.12 McAllister either to Toulouse !

And I don't have much to pull together here, I'm not the one burying my head in ze sable !!
