Carter "absolutely" in doubt for rest of the world cup!!!

This throws up what I would consider to be a good question:

Do the selectors put Muliaina into fullback to boost the experience in the backs? I thought Mils played very well tonight, if indeed better than Dagg.

The All Blacks chances of winning this tounament just plummitted.

The ABs chances of winning RWC 2011 will plummet the day the sun rises in the West and sets in the East.
With or without DC, the ABs have been the best side by a country mile. France losing to Tonga, Aussies losing to Ireland, Boks almost losing to Samoa... NZ haven't even come close to a competitive game yet.

It's just shattering that DC will miss out on the first AB world cup in two decades! He is undoubtedly the best player in the world currently, must be heartbroken.

Yes, we'll use McCaw to replace the world's best fly half.

No not at all mate, let us be honest you have the easier route to the semi-finals then any other team in the comp. Providing Ireland do not slip up, just 80mins and the final.

Your still have a great chance.

Yeah, I can't think of a world cup where the ABs stuffed everyone in the group stages and then lost in either the QF, SF or Final.....

I cannot see any other team matching the ABs here on home soil. Maybe England if JW is benched

I would go for the Boks over us at the moment JW is having a shocker, 9 out of 20 kicks. He looks lost at the moment.

So the All Blacks chances of winning the World Cup are no different to what they were before Carter was ruled out?

Don't be absurd. The reason the All Blacks backs are so potent is because Carter is at the helm.

Um, yeah, because you win a World Cup by making the semi finals don't you?

The All Blacks will presumably go up against the Boks in the semis. Even with Carter, the prospect is still daunting. That isn't even taking into account the final.

Moody?

Also, I'm pretty sure I read that Ioane will be back for the knockouts

Wasn't he injured? Thought I heard something like that. On Ioane... I don't know. A broken thumb is not something that heals in 2 weeks.

This next comment, chronologically speaking doesn't belong if you consider what's been announced.

I find the phrase "absolutely doubtful" hilarious. That's all

I wound put Weepu as a n° 10 with Conan/ Ellis at 9. Weepu will be plain fly half anyway next season when going to Auckland.

I wrote "absolutely" in the ***le, because i was quoting the twitter comment that i read from the journo.

I believe that New Zealand will have a much harder time in this competition if they decide to start Slade, that boy has never impressed me.

Is it official that Cruden's been given the call up or what? haven't seen anything official yet just hearing people talk about it

Yes Carter is our and Yes Cruden has been called up

http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/all-blacks/5720003/Aaron-Cruden-shocked-at-All-Blacks-call-up

good that he's been training and keeping fit but I don't like the fact that he's not been goal kicking since the ITM cup finished!

I have no idea what the rules are but I heard their is a two week stand down for injury cover called into the squad? Anyone confirm if that's true or bulldust? IF so that would mean that Cruden can't play this weekend. If anything I think he needs to come straight in onto the bench, surely as he was one of the "standby" players he would already have had the playbook to look at.
