Blues vs Crusaders.

What an ace game
Both sides have started the comp on fire, except for the goal kicking

Mealamu, what a beast!

Soup Rugby!

Not a bad match, though I apologise to Crusaders fans as my viewing caused them to blow their halftime lead :p

You didn't miss much in the 2st half, it was a miserable kicking fest. 2nd half was much better.

Oh crap, I just remembered that the Blues play us next week

AHhhhhhhh!!!

Actually it's called Super Rugby, the logo merely plays on that.
Are you suggesting that I don't know that it's called super rugby? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt...:D

Oh and i don't think the logo plays on anything. That's called a royal ****-up :lol:

10000000000 on 2 over lap and Brett cross-kicks it... Straight subbed off ahaha

I don't want to jinx him but this guy is so bad it's not even funny.

As soon as he was subbed the Blues started playing rugby...

How about Stanley trying to put the big hit on Kieren Read?!... Straight got bunted off.. KR was like "****a please! I'm an All Black"

What a great game! miles better than the canes and highlanders game. what was up with the goal kicking?! crikey.

maybe i'm wrong but they didn't even score any points after brett went off right? so what do you mean

Mm kay got a bit carried away there...sorry bout that. But still, he was terrible...

w00t I called it. Has to be the best match of round 2. Stephen Brett is by far and away the worst fly half, but it was a great match. As good as Ranger was, I'd rather have him at centre.

yeah, but Jared Payne was pretty good at 13 too, Toeava had a good game at full back, so it's probably the best positions to be able to play all three

I really enjoyed this game despite the Crusaders losing ... all four starting locks had good games IMO ... not too worried about the loss, I think these two teams will be the top placed NZ teams, and will hopefully both finish in the top six ... look forward to the return match in Christchurch

Ok, so I'm ****** that the Crusaders lost. They made three errors in the second half, and every one of the cost a try. The match could have gone either way... but

What a fantastic game of rugby, and so early in the season

► My MOTM; Kev...a real Captain's knock and the winning try to boot.

► Fringe/Potential All Blacks who made an early statement; Rene Ranger, Robbie Fruan

► Good to see Ali Williams get through the 60 minutes he played with no problems.

Great start from us, straight into it. Cant wait for next week.

'Saders played well also but I think they'll be better when Sonny and Ritchie comeback.

Hey Nick i say leave Ranger on the wing, Hes better off roaming around the paddock. and less likley to **** up on d. **** the Blues looked good in the forwards too I am thrilled

Brett is ****! We should have bought Slade when we had the chance. Championship winning team with Slade there

Yeah, we've discussed this before, we'll have to agree to disagree. In my mind he's got such raw talent, that it'll be a shame to leave him out, but I can't see him ever being quick enough to be a world class winger. You could tell from his great run and set up, while he bumped people and had good feet, the chasers were quite a bit faster. I think all that's stopping him from being a great centre is his defense and handling, but that can be improved in time, I mean look at Ma'a Nonu 6-7 years ago. Very similar. I can certainly see the appeal in keeping him on the wing, I just don't think we'll ever see the best of him on the wing.

I've been going on about how crap Brett is for ages. He really is very poor. He'll screw up 5 times a game, and then do something well and people think he's brilliant. He has no consistancy. In my mind, the Blues will do better with Luke McAlister at 1st 5/8th.

Where's that 1st five from North Harbour botica? why didn't he get a super rugby contract. He's better then Brett isn't he?
