Yeah,

the week after next will be the playoffs. On friday, 1st plays 4th and 2nd plays 3rd. Then the winners play on the saturday to decide who wins the league. Also if you are under the auto-promote line then you have to play a promotion match on the sunday.

Its all in the documentations.

so even if you finish 4th you could still win the league and get promoted

I did not know about this......my form reversal has paid dividends then i could go up in the leagues!. (probably get relegated back down but i can say ive got promoted  )

Well, I've topped my promotion table (Table III, I'm in League III.9 by the way).

Oh this is most excellent news! I've only ever spent 1 week at pole position and had to spend majority of the season at #4. Are there any prizes for being runner up or something.

I finished five points clear at the top of the table but below the promotion line. The team I have got in the semi I should beat (put a bonus point on them away) so hopefully I will go up.

Yeah, i think 1st to 4th all get cash prizes (in the game) with 1st getting the most then 2nd etc. and 1st to 3rd get trophies.

Heres what it say says in the documentations:

In each league, the teams finishing the season 1st through 4th receive prize money, with teams in a higher division awarded more than those in lower divisions.

Level 1st 2nd 3rd 4th
1 $200,000 $140,000 $90,000 $50,000
2 $160,000 $100,000 $70,000 $40,000
3 $120,000 $80,000 $60,000 $30,000
4 $100,000 $60,000 $50,000 $25,000
5 $80,000 $50,000 $35,000 $20,000
6 $60,000 $40,000 $25,000 $15,000

50% of the prize money will be distributed shortly before the Playoffs commence. The remaining 50% will be distributed after the final, when the promotion qualifiers are formally announced. In addition to the prize money, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placed teams win league trophies to be put on display in the club lobby.

yes, most excellent. especially the fact that me and the new current no.1 drew 25 all a couple of weeks back. then i dropped a game by one point. or i would have spent all season at 1st place.

Supposing I have to fight for the 1st or 2nd spot, I'm going to change my squads tactics to "play like theres no tmrw".

On a side note, my defensive ratings for drift defence is Impressive. I have never EVER used any of the other defensive styles. I'l do that during off season when I'm having my boot up Prestwick's arse!

What happened to the TRF blackot championship? Is that still on?

Late in the season, and one of my best players, a fullback has gotten a rating 10 in his kicking! woohoo!

I'm only keeping him at fullback because my 1st 5/8, a fat kid, always rates as princely, and I've no cover for fullback!

And all my good players are suffering from bad form! Will be using this to test out the forms when I play Laver Village. If it doesn't really affect the game I'll just field my best players for the play offs!

Beat my biggest competitor easily with a second string squad. Should win the playoffs and get promoted.

Now i'm just re-shuffling my squad to get soke youth into the squad and get rid of the some of the older players.

Also I have a couple of guys up for sale if anyone is interested.

ooooooh, 2nd place coming into the playoffs. and im taking on the team that stepped up and beat me my one point! looking foward to this game. im a good 18 points or so ahead of him on the table, and all going well, i will play the leader who drew with me when i played them.

Should I play the first semi final game with the setting as "play like theres no tomorrow", or should i play normally? any suggestions? Very tempted to try out playing recklessly, but majority of my players have bad discipline.

3 factors you should look at - how have you been playing them prior. ive always been playing on normal, barring the better teams. this reduces fatigue.

what was the score when you last played? if it was close, or if they beat you, you need to do everything to ensure that you win.

and finally, who have you got left. if your placed 1st, ahead by 20pts, then normal. but if you are 4th, and behind by 20pts on the table, you, again, need to do everything you can to win.

remember that 2nd is better than 3rd. if you win the 1st playoff game, and lose the 2nd, at least you won one.

so play like theres no tomorrow!!!!

My juniors have finished the season at 1st place! Woots! adding to that, my junior 1st 5/8 (captain n kicker) is also the jnr league's top scorer! So I'm just reshuffling my backline. Putting my best player at 2nd 5 against Prestwick. Previously the fullback. Has 10,100 CSR! My 2.02m tall 2nd 5 now switches to fullback. Oh the headache deciding who to train for next season!

Top of the league and Junior league. I'm not doing too badly in the promotion table either with 48 points and +74. If we can have some upsets in the other leagues playoffs I might make it above the promotion line. I have such an animal front row and my pack weight is huge even though my openside is only 87 kg. Two pushover tries yesterday and one of them was against the head!

oh ****. been spending waaaaaaay to much, and if i dont turn my finances around in 2 weeks, im out!

sell sell sell!
