Biarritz v Gloucester
</div>

Gloucester's qualification hopes are hanging by a thread following their loss at home to the Blues but may well also regret not picking up a bonus point win in the reverse fixture back in November.

Gloucester will be looking to make it a hat trick of defeats for Biarritz having lost to the Blues and Paris. This is still a huge match for Biarritz given that they're unlikely to be in next season's competition, so that makes finishing second and securing the 3 points towards their European ranking all the more important.

The chances may be slim for Gloucester in terms of qualifying but a win is a must if they're to stand a chance. All they need to go in their favour is a defeat for Wasps or Leinster and for Leicester to deny the Ospreys a win at the Liberty stadium. Bath denying Toulouse a losing bp would help matters no end of either of the first 2 scenarios don't go in their favour.

It will all come to nothing though if Leinster, Wasps and the Ospreys all get bonus point wins which would leave it coming down to try difference on which Leicester are currently on +17 while Gloucester are only on +8.

Going to this game, after what happened on Sunday I almost wish I wasnt. At least Biarritz arnt very good either. Glos to win narrowly.

Tindall has been ruled out for Gloucester. Conditions are woeful down in Biarritz so expect a low scoring affair.

great effort from Balshaw to stop Ngwenya from getting in, but what a counter from Biarritz and off the resulting lineout Harinordoquy gets in for the try.

yeah certainly has low score written all over it now, 10 points already for Biarritz inside 7 minutes.

lovely chip and chase from Yashvili, in fairness it was so easy for him given how much of a doing the Biarritz scrum had just given Gloucester.

adds the conversion, Gloucester in serious trouble now, 17-0 after 15 mins

strange call from Gloucester not to take the points and they make a balls of the resulting scrum. Doesn't matter though as Simpson Daniel eventually gets in for the try, thought the pass was marginal but Owens was right on hand.

17-7 now.

I know it's still a penalty to Biarritz but how did Owens not ping the tackler there, he was definitely in front of Barkley on that kick, serious case for a penalty try for me.

Owens is having a shocker, Nietto was clearly in for the side, there's no way that ball was out yet he's only pinged him for the knock on and then proceeds to give Biarritz too much advantage from what was only a knock on offence, infuriating.

Watching it now, Gloucester seriously are in deep, deep trouble.

Absolutely woeful from Glaws for both of those tries, caught napping and were so lethargic for the first try and Blashaw against two backs....yes well less said about that the better.

Great return by Sinbad but they're still three tries from winning with the BP..

Hahahahaha! He disagrees!

Doesn't make him right of course, Owens is having a total shocker..

harsh call for me, think shitehouse just wanted to get involved, could never keep his gob shut when he was reffing. None of which would have happened had they both not missed at least 2 knock ons from Glocuester

Great break by Glaws, and a trip on Balshaw after he trips and chases!

Usually, Balshaw usually trips over on his own and I doubt he needs any help from Traille but you can't underestimate the average Frenchman's obsession with being sneaky cheats so, a yellow card!

Well deserved.

surprisingly good game given the conditions, but I'd be surprised if Gloucester can get the three tries they need to have a chance.

Brilliant rugby being played by both teams, Ngwenya and JSD are just absolutely brilliant when they get a hold of the ball. Gloucester just guilty of being absolutely useless when it really counts as they leaked two relatively easy tries to Biarritz.

so according to Sky 5 tries and 5 matchpoints to nil and that apparently gives Biarritz a runner up spot ahead of Leinster, work that one out
