Backing the All blacks & dismissing the Boks a bit early?

i'm no glory hunter ;) the AB are then chokers :? i support man utd, but i'm ashamed to admit that cuz they play crap even if they do win ***les... i support mclaren, what have they won? i support The Hurricanes, what have they won??? i support the English national football team..what have they won?? and i supported SA cricket side untill they sacked Hansie, then dropped cricket totally.... so no, i'm not a glory hunter.

So then why do you 'support' those teams? McLaren because of their fancy driving, Manure because of their free flowing footy?
What connection do you have with these teams? You stop/ start supporting teams as you please, you are most definitely a glory hunter, the mere fact that my original post did not directly accuse you of being one, and you're defending of yourself proves that.

What is with the constant ellipses? It is indicator no. 45 in the Dummies Guide to Internet Trolls

cricket- Aus /India
football- Brazil / Spain
club football - Man utd /Barca
F1 - Ferrari
Rugby - SA / NZ (depends on who won)
S15 - Bulls / Crusaders

Dude WTF!! you are making no sense whatsoever!! how old are you????!!!

you talk about supporting running rugby and hate the way the springboks kill games??

then WHY on earth are you supporting my beloved Bulls when they are the cornerstone of killing off games as you say and squeezing the life out of the other teams??

you are what we Afrikaans people like to call a "Draadsitter"!! and people like you moet hard gebliksem word!!

It doesn't matter then does it :p. Remember something I read in Phill Vickery's book what B.O'Driscoll had said after they beat England a month after the WC or something stupid like that. He said: 'If you are World Champions, what this make us after beating you guys?' (After this O'Driscoll whent down a notch in my books, such a stupid thing to say) But if you can't perform at the biggest stage then you will never be the best? Not hating NZ or anything you guys have been the best team in the world for most of Rugby's history and I love your culture/mindset towards Rugby and I'd be sort of happy for DC if he wins the RWC :p.

And nobody who is serious about his sports is going to enjoy losing and they will try to win at any cost, even if that means playing some slow rugby now and then.

Actually if you look at the time span SA has actually been the team with the highest win/loss ratio up until and including the isolation years and only really slipped in the decade since readmission (sorting our **** out and not picking our top team); 1992ish to 2003ish. In that time the 3N started and we played NZ a hell of a lot more and were utter **** for long periods. The sheer amount of games played in this period means NZ lead us by a lot of games; round about 12 I think but we had it (superior win/loss ratio) over them for about 70 years.

Would that be 70 years where we weren't allowed to send full strength teams to play you because some of our players colour was wrong? Like Honestly if we still couldn't play any of our Maori boys you'd still beat us on a regular basis.:p

Did you have any Maori's then?

I thought Fijians, Samoans and Tongan People were only allowed NZ citizenship after the 1980's??? :D

Brush up on your history; those laws only effected something like 7 games. SA only became a republic in 1960 and it was later that those laws effected teams coming over.

How weak that teams actually still whent over and just dropped there coloured players. (Yes I know they didn't after a while)

Very sad. The funniest and also saddest thing is that Maori wre allowed to come over and play as... wait for it... 'honorary whites'.

Ridiculous. A very tragic time in our young nation's history.

Well, you can't go back in time. Due to radiation feedback and whatnot.

lol this trolling lark is really easy :)
fwiw my father in law played for the Maoris against SA in the 1981 tour (he just wanted to play against SA and decided politics and sports shouldn't mix).

Oh and btw NZ team in 1928 had players like George Nepia excluded because of race, so even though apartheid laws weren't in until 1948 it was already common practice for other countries to not send there coloured players over to SA.
So we know that from 1928 onwards all NZ teams touring SA were under strength which was more like 18 games ;)
but all in all who cares NZ ans SA have always been the two best teams in the world and hence the biggest rivalry in rugby.

LOL, good one.

Good on him. Pity our government (then and now) can't make the same distinction.

Since I don't know how to enter this conversation with words, I will do it with pictures.

What are the guys in the background thinking? What is the Japanese captain thinking. The best o'luck to the Kiwi's in running it anyway. I'm sure they'll do great.
