Australia vs New Zealand

Poor decision making from Taylor, skying a ball to Hussey, no need to take the risk given the run rate and how sweet Guptil is timing the ball.

that was a quality catch from Hussey, probably one of the best of the series, certainly as good as any that they've been showing on the classic catches bit.

Real headache now for NZ.

God it's annoying that this game isn't on Sky 1 right now! I'm having to follow it via cricinfo and it's oh so damn frustrating not seeing the action unfold.

it does seem a bit of a nonsense that they can't come back later on to finish the match, epseically in this game where there's only 6 overs left.

Why oh why can't the ICC allow in these circumstances that the 20/20 after the series would decide the result? Anyhow a victory of sorts for NZ anyhow.

Why not just schedule a reserve day in the event that there's a deciding final match in the series.

Similar start for the Aussies that NZ had the other night, runs coming quickly but wickets falling as well.

partnership is building but they'll need to double their score from here you'd imagine, if what Vetorri said earlier is anything to go by.

timely wicket picked up there by Elliot from NZ's point of view, they're certainly hemming them in at the moment. Contrasting messages though coming from the Aussies, Haddin apparently saying 160 is a par score, Vettori saying they'd be doing well to restrict them to anything below 180.

160 is looking an ask now as Hussey is out to Vettori. Still a chance though with White there and if he times the ball like he did that last 6 they could well get there.

White just short with that effort, looked 6 all the way but there was Vettori on the rope.

So 151 to chase for NZ. I think Vettori is more astute as a cricketer than Haddin, should be able to judge a pitch better even though it is in Australia so his claim of 180 being a par score is probably spot on.
