Australia vs New Zealand

That's about what I am expecting as well GG, I'm keeping my expectations way down low just like you. ;)

Twas a great day of Cricket for us though...and against the old foe...I'll savour the moment 'cos it may be all we get.[/b]
Haha yep....we might get a good score...then they will just over take out first innings by 150 runs...then we will have a day and a half to take our time to get the target....then magically Aussie will wake up and get 8 of us out in that final fourth day session for 60 runs.  The fifth day will start with us getting our 9th batsmen out for 10 runs.....finally we will have an ENTIRE day on our last wicket trying to not get out as 80 runs seems to hard an ask for a last stand...the Aussies will have only one person outside the circle as they come in for the kill.....block block block for hours...no wait...it is all over in the morning session.  Another Aussie test win.

However the way the Aussie batsmen were struggling against our...ahem...pace cough cough attack made me wonder if the Aussie team has finally lost its iron grip on the cricketing world.

geez guys, don't be so optimistic :)

now you know what it feels like for wallaby fans to watch the bledisloe. you don't get your hopes up until the 75 minute mark and only if the wallabies are more than 10 points ahead :D

the bc's have good talent, they just need a good strike bowler to replace bond and more than 1 bloke to make the big score in each innings, ie. build partnerships. basic stuff really.

here we go again... it'll be over by day 3

congrats to the curator for producing such a bowler friendly deck

Ahaaaa....all is back to as it was in the world again.

I have always thought the NZ Black Caps are over paid over rated and over hyoed up living off the legacy of the Hadlee/Chafield/Cairns/Wright/Edgar/Sneddon/Turner era.  We sucked before that era...we have sucked since..the only difference is that ever since that era the public have been fooled into thinkng we were a world power before then from the beginning....when we never were!  The public have been fooled into thinking that the NZ cricket team were up ther the way the All Blacks have been from the beginning.

Well ive never seen such a noname lineup from the NZ team in my life - no offense to all NZ fans.
We should've had Krejza in I dont want to complain but the Gabba was Warneys favourite deck with the bounce - and Vettori's bowling supurbly, getting some decent bounce.

Are the selectors going to keep persisting with Watson? Symonds is clearly the better AR for test matches.

I think this will be Haddins make or break innings tomorrow or even summer - there's some quality keepers going around.

Fairly easy win in the end for Australia. Johnson MOM with 9 wickets inc. a 5fa in the 2nd innings.

Watson got dropped from the squad immediately after the match.

We've made a great start in the 2nd test - three overs gone and we haven't lost a wicket yet.

f*** redmond is doing alright, if he keeps his head, he can tonne up for the caps....

So bit of a let down following the first day of the first test, just hope South Africa don't crumble as easily as that has the makings of a cracking test series.

nah the saffas have several bats capable of making 200+ scores and building parterships. take a look at smith and amla... run machines.

true but well I thought they were going to make a decent series of it last time round but bar a dogged effort from Rudolphe in Perth they didn't really amount to much, I know they've improved since but lets just say I won't be surprised if history repeats itself.

I hope it doesn't as there is the makings of a great series, Amla looks a class act, Prince is so bloody awkward to get out and if Kallis could regain his form then it could be something for South Africa as the bowling attack should be quite comfortable on the fast pitches in Australia.

So part 2 of New Zealand's tour getting underway. Question is will Australia bounce back from the test and one day series loss to South Africa or can New Zealand inflict further misery on Australia before they head to South Africa for the rematch.
