Australia v England #2

Wow ... you never seemed to think England could play like this.

Hape is looking good tonight.

This is what they needed to do last game, they were relying far to much on their forwards inside the 22.

Haha, these Aussie commentators are hilarious, they've been complaining all match about the ref, saying how the SH ones are way better,
After that call against Croft they both go "Refs having a great match" "I agree with you there"

England playing well? Shocked!

the Northampton boys are doing well, Youngs is decent too

Still too many silly penalties being given away.

Luckily Giteau is apparently human and doesn't hit everything.

England to be fair are playing some good attractive rugby.

England need to slow things down now, and focus a lot more on setting the back line up, and getting them clean ball. Mixing that up with a bit of kicking for field possession (not too much kicking though), they were getting sloppy towards the end.

LOL seriously i was just thinking this, when they were talking about the mud on the aussies face after the scrum collapse

And awesome try their by England

That is EXACTLY the moment that made me leave that post. It was very funny. There was a moment around 25 minutes ago when Moody came up quickly to defend and he may or may not have had a toe offside, it was hard to tell, but the commentators go "oh, Lewis Moody is miles offside there."

This is the annoying thing.

We can. We do it about every four of five matches, we turn up and look like a real handful. Then we go back to being unrelenting misery to watch.

Fingers crossed that this time there's no going back. No more return to packs with top speeds of athritic grannies when we've got guys like Lawes, Cole and Attwood who have the dynamism to get round the park. No more scrum-halves who can't get it away quickly.

... Yeah. Believe it when I see it.

13-15 HT score

From an England perspective.
The Good:

Ben Youngs - So much quick service to Flood. Already a strong case for MOTM.
Foden - Running everything and scaring the Aussie defence in the process
Lawes - Everywhere
Thompson - Looks closer then ever like he did when he was considered the best. Worth a million just for laughing in the Aussie packs faces!
Ashton - Seeing the ball and willing to run with it. Brilliant finishing.
Flood - Showing why he's not a Wilkinson carbon copy.
Croft - Lions form

The Not so good:
Penalties - Too many silly ones that can be costly. Giteau won't miss them forever.
Payne - The weak link at the loosehead, Thompson and Cole can't compensate for that. Brainless at the breakdown.
Hape - Keeps going too direct, poor defensive positioning directly lead to the break which made the Aussie try. Still would be better replaced with Allen.

Payne is doing what Worsely did against the BaaBaas,
Everyone else is willing to/wants to run with the ball, but whenever he gets the ball he points himself at the nearest defender and walks into him

This is the best i've seen Hape play, he's linked well with Ashton

Think your harsh on Hape, cut some good lines and some of his off-loads have been good.

Hahaha yeah that was a hilarious! Even though they are pretty biased, at least they do it with some witty humor to give a couple lulz

So easy to concede like that, so fluid from the Aussies.

Gah, Giteau get's another try

Matt Giteau 20 - 15 England

Aussie tighthead kicking off again

Oh ********... Flood tweaks his Ankle kicking a penalty.

Wilkinson must be imminent... :(

These Aussie commentators love Lawes,
Unfortunate by Ashton, hopefully the scrum goes our way again

Wilkinson on now.
Wonder how long before he goes for a DG?
