Whilst it's a total inconvenience to Premier League teams, the African Nations Cup often ends up with some quite exciting, if poor quality games.

Last night for instance, hosts Angola were 4-0 up on Mali at half time only for it to finish 4-4. Whilst that screams "FIX!" at me, it made for some good viewing. Incredible really.

This competition has a pall over it because of the tragedy that befell Togo, but nonetheless this should be a good tournament.

I've only watched one A.N.C game, and it was the final a few years ago, and i just found it so much more interesting than domestic/regular international football. There are plenty of goals, and it just seemed more like an amateur game (lots of slide tackles/shouldering people over)

surely it would scream fix if Angola had been 4-0 down and not 4-0 up.
