Abortion figures do matter, how callous? personally am pro choice but far more should be invested in allowing these potential parents to have as much time knowledge help information as possible to make an unhurried informed decision they will not regret for the rest of their lives. Many parents to be regret an abortion and in many cases are unable to have children in future. These people are often in difficult circumstances , financially and emotionally. But how many of them are fully aware they can have the child and give the child up for adoption or fostering etc?
Its not just hormonal balance, its their circumstances, they may be immature, on drugs, on booze, in an abusive relationship or a broken home..The list of variables is endless. But give them as much information and time and support as possible to make an unrushed informed decision
That at least allows the unborn child a chance to live and that in turn gives these parents to be some peace of mind. Many many women have said they felt pressurised and rushed into abortions they later regret. Sadly this aspect is never discussed as the whole topic has long been hijacked by the hardline PC brigade and hard line feminists who feel men have no right to even discuss the topic. Well have the children being aborted are male and half the parents to be are male, so yes males should have a right to an opinion too.
