They'd get to Rhyl and decide it's all a little too weird, and probably not worth the hassle. If aliens ever discover us and see stuff like this, they have every right take control.
They would have to get past the West Midlands first. They'll lose all hope in life before they get through it.They'd get to Rhyl and decide it's all a little too weird, and probably not worth the hassle.
Ok chief.I'll lay it out to you, that his point is that experts aren't any more trustworthy than doing your own research
If they had some Starfleet prime directive, sure. In reality sentient life is so rare in the universe (we're likely the only sentient life in the Milky Way) that we would be of interest.I honestly think if Aliens exist and came to Earth, they'd take one look at us and say "**** that!".
I think they've said life is or at least was out there, but at a different stage of their existence. So even if we discover something, it will be remains of a species or them finding ours etc.If they had some Starfleet prime directive, sure. More likely find them at the beginning as slime like we were but possible afterwards too.I think they've said life is or at least was out there, but at a different stage of their existence. So even if we discover something, it will be remains of a species or them finding ours etc.
Now Now he does his own researchOk chief.
Contrarian to your core.
I think they're trying, but we're not there in terms of technology to achieve something yet. They need to do something though as we're not going to progress into the universe without it.More likely find them at the beginning as slime like we were but possible afterwards too.
I just don't get how we get beyond the sheer distance of travel until we figure out how to fold space or some ****. Like the scene in the amazing Event Horizon where he asks what's the shortest distance between 2 points and he says zero and folds the paper and puts a pencil through it. That's my kind of science. Can't believe we haven't figured it out already. Can't be that hard.
But some really smarts guys already did it for meNow Now he does his own research
The only other way really is Quantum Physics but that's less physical travel and more going to alternate realities.
I was wondering how long it would be before that came up
Sorry, I'm trying to avoid all free content from now on so I'll give this a miss.
Not to mention, doing actual research, collecting and analysing ice cores and petrified wood, presenting the research for peer review, following the scientific method, etc (not to mention relevant qualifications , background knowledge and understanding, being recognised expert in he field...) - as opposed to "research" meaning watching a few unreferenced opinions on YouTube, even if it's a lot of unreferenced opinions on youtubeBut some really smarts guys already did it for me![]()
Why trust experts in any field. Half a day on YouTube and I'm a qualified barrister, can perform open heart surgery, and have more science knowledge than Brian Cox.Ok chief.

Sadly done by anti-vaxxers too.Why trust experts in any field. Half a day on YouTube and I'm a qualified barrister, can perform open heart surgery, and have more science knowledge than Brian Cox.
All by doing my own research. Experts my arse.
The do you own research line is spouted alot by the Qanon crowd and flat earthers. In reality it means find sources that support my views, and don't prove i am a total mong.
