Wouldn't be surprised if it was at the behest of whichever crypto bros championed $TRUMP and $MELANIA coins to him - a lot of OG crypto people love (mainly just the idea of, rather than realities of) Silk Road
Everything's quid pro quo with Trump, and he's made more than a few quid off these coins

Let's not also forget trump is defacto in charge of cryptocurrency regulation in the US.

Even true libertarians still accept the idea of law. The silk road was a criminal network... Libertarians in the USA really do not follow libertarian ideology at all.

I expect this kind of shitposting from your average Twitter user but from supposedly super-genius richest man in the world heading a government agency I kinda expect a teeny bit more maturity. I'm constantly baffled how these people ever end up in positions of wealthy and power when they have the emotional intelligence of a child and how people will defend such actions unwaveringly. Either they are incapable of recognising what pathetic and childish behaviour this is, or they are but don't care. Neither bode well. Collectively, mentally we are going down the toilet.
