No idea but it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of their spending choices are driven by Trump cult association.
Musk gives Trump the X platform (and assists him and his allies with inflammatory tweets) and Trump gives Musk's market share a boost with MAGA muppets buying his products.

Yeah I'm not sure. If elected to office then it's more fine, but ultimately it's not productive in the slightest in reg to actual policy discussion and probably feeds into the culture that puts people off getting involved in politics.
