That sounds better but anyway...I can't imagine myself in such a situation,for example.
But it was a nice step from his side to send a letter of apology.
 
Yes, I also don't understand why this woman (from police) acted like that...but he showed himself as a person strong enough to admit he did something wrong and strong enough to apologize for it ☝️
 
He didn't actually do what she accused him of.

He obviously thought apologising would make things better, however we learn an important lesson about the mentality of RAF police.
 
Problem is, this a trial by media. Idiots just pile on with their opinions based on nothing at all or just rumours and speculation.

This should have gone to the courts first.

End of the day a lot of peeps get away with crimes and misdemeanours all the time. Take using a mobile phone whilst driving and the misunderstanding that just because they are stationary in traffic that they aren't committing an offence that'll land them with 6 points and a £200 fine.

All It takes a split second to move forward whilst distracted and bad timing and they would hit a child crossing in front. I caught 2 outside a primary school on theirs. Better 6 points/fine than a injured/dead child.

As for Brand, well yes trial by media at the moment and he'll have his day in court.

Not terribly suprirsing.
If you want to rejoin, then thefir st priority is "Tories out" then you can look and either getting Labour pro-rejoin, or getting more pro-rejoin MPs. That means tactical voting for whoever is most likely to beat the Tory in any given seat, or on a national basis, voting for a labour government.
Voting 3rd party and letting the Tories keep power is an idiots' game if you're pro-EU - it's a game with plenty of willing idiots to play it, but hopefully not enough.

I'd normally be inclined to give the benefit of the doubt but this looks pretty blatant. The woman handing out the medals looks right at her and then skips her, the only girl in the line to not get a medal. I would have thought people would try to be less blatant with their racism but it seems this woman was happy to humiliate a child over it.

I don't think we'll rejoin as such, but I do think we'll slowly move closer and closer to them again. Last time I checked most polls were saying brexit isn't working and despite the govs best efforts to ignore the problems it's caused, they're pretty clear to see. Intill we get modern voting system, tactical voting is all we have now.

When the history books look at the last 10 years, I imagine it's going to talk about just how embarrassing and self serving our politicians are and how we somehow kept them there. The country seems to be full of masochists 😅

It seems Trump has violated the terms of his bail numerous times now, making threats and accusations against people due to testify against him. As usual, the "justice" system is completely spineless and is not following through with any of their threats of consequences. It's not different to a parent who never follows through with threats of discipline against a child. At some point someone has to grow a spine and throw that **** in jail. Anyone else doing even a fraction of what he did would already be in jail.

Apparently been an open secret on the comedy circuit for years and we've only heard the tip of iceberg in quite how foul a person he is. So less trial by media on this one.
 
About HS2...

Said years ago it would never go north due to costs and it looks like I might be right. My next guess is, if it is scrapped, the land the government bought with our money will go to their mates at a hugely discounted rate and they'll make millions from housing etc.

You do wonder why after such a successful career in TV and Hollywood that he all of sudden disappeared and started making conspiracy stuff on YouTube. Same thing happened with Saville. One might he's meeting Royalty the next he's completely dropped. That's the bit that stinks a bit for me. Ok it's obvious no one was offering him work and now the reason is kinda clear
