Extreme views of capitalism but play dumb when I use the extreme. Considering right is "capitalism" and left is "communism" the far-right have to support capitalism by definition of the word.

I'm not being disingenuous, but capitalism key tenet is essentially capitol accumulation. To have capitalism is to have inequality.

Well that's what a tax system is for....you can have a more equal capitalist system and you can have a less equal one (it's high v low tax). The far right would see a zero tax system.

Pretty simple concept to get your head round. But you're too simple and looking for fight.

Like many big cities there are not very nice bits to London were you wouldn't want to go. Strangely they are right next to the nice bits so you can get the tube (@ncurd) to the nice bit

I used to think London was okay to visit, but I've completely gone off it now. It's just easier and quicker to do things in other cities. Living there? Nah, it's no life.

Is Manchester nice? I'd like to travel there. I used to work for a London-based company, so I traveled there often. Over the years, London felt more and more Americanized, which I loathed.

Seems like the North still has more of a quintessential Britishness than the South.

Don't know worked in both and both are very affluent, loads of small businesses is always a sign of affluence. Now if you go a bit further west to say Hayes or Harlington.....well would rather be in Bradford (ok that's a bit strong)

I think large parts of the UK are nice, but the world (understandable) thinks of London only. I remember talking to a Canadian a few years back who finally got round to visiting London. He felt it was incredibly overrated and there are nicer parts of the uk.

Bath seems absolutely lovely. I'd love to go to a rugby game there. My wife is an architectural engineer by trade, so we both love a good architectural city.

Also heard good things about York. What about Leicester? It's more of a wealthy area, right? The Cotswold looks lovely, and I can help protest the local council that tried to shutdown Clarkson's farm restaurant.
