A great big Munster thread

I really like the simplicity of that also is the emblem on that different to before?

not differant but it just has two stars underneath to represent HEC succses!

i prefare it to previous jersey hopefully they wont look like liverpool this time

Lads the black jersery with gold stripes is just the training jersey.
Jersey launched during week and on sale August 8.

The new jersey is intended to be alot simpler and the shorts are white it is simple but nice, the training t-shirt is nice too, it's red but looks nice but plain too.
Everyone got their gear last Wednesday.

kinda obvious seen as its at training that they are wearing it haha! not on sale untill august 11th

ha ya! pity they didnt go back to the navey shorts, would love to see the 2006 kit back again!

Centrally contracted until the end of the World Cup, so he could have gone if selected/can still cover.

I'm new in the world of rugby, and only recently picked my club side - and that is Munster! Couldn't be any different, since my 1st contact with this sport was thanks to some loud drunk Munster supporters in an Irish Pub in Rio de Janeiro. Looking forward to following the team in the future :)

you should also look forward to the smug looks on leinster fans faces as they announce they won the Heino (heineken cup) and munster didnt ,and that Isa Nacewa is a god in a mans body

"John Hayes, contracted until the end of the World Cup featured in the two opening RaboDirect PRO12 games..."

Does this mean he's retiring after the World Cup?
John is contracted until end of Nov and well is in talks to see if he might sign a Munster contract until May just to act as cover as Botha is prone to injury and we are thin in this department

We're not that thin with Cotter, Archer, Botha, Borlaise, John Ryan and Condon to call up. Many of those are better than Hayes and eager to get some game time.

It looks like James Downey will be playing with Munster next season. They're also in talks with Casey Lualua and supposed to be eyeing up Rhys Ruddock too. Will Chambers has left to sign for Melbourne Storm.
