6 Nations Player of the Tournament

for me i think it should be Greig Laidlaw because his kicking game for scotland has been amazing he hardly missed a conversion and he did made some key passes aswell like sean maitlands first try for scotland against england and i think he also set up more but he had a great tournament this year and got man off the match against italy which was his best game so far

Aye, to be fair Laidlaw has been fantastically consistent with the boot, which has been missing for a few years since Patterson

a few years it was only like a year and a half since patterson retired but ye dan parks was crap just because off his mistake against england

Back on topic:

Picamoles, Halfpenny, Parisse in that order for me. Louis Picamoles is a beast of a no.8. He may not be as skilful as Parisse but that hasn't stopped him dominating teams. He saved France on his own against Ireland on Sunday. Halfpenny is the Lions full-back in waiting and Sergio is Sergio, he's the best no.8 on the planet.

If Parisse is the best no. 8 on the planet and Picamoles is a no. 8... How has Picamoles been the better player :p (It'll always be Parisse over Picamoles for me, but I get where you're coming from)

Although it's not quite as extreme as commentators might make it out to be, there certainly is some tradeoff between bulk and natural pace. Look at a player like Matthew Tait, he could have been absolutely fantastic for England but is only now just being worked back into the Leicester set up after building too much mass in an attempt to move to centre.

in my opinion picamoles is better than parisse as a player but parisse is a better leader than picamoles but i think that picamoles is still better than parisse

Parisse, just look at the difference when he is there and when not.

yeh, Halfpenny. Like, regardless of Wales actually winning the ship, Halfpenny.
Great regularity, and with all those times where there was pressure, tremendous or mild in the backfield, he'd always gather and make the right play.

Has to be Parisse. Played in slightly weaker team than all other contenders but in every game he stood up and showed what a class act he is and never failed in going looking for work

mmmmm....mmmmmmyeah....debatable. I still think Leigh Half-Abillion.
