3rd test - Australia v British & Irish Lions

Honestly, go back and watch all those 'big hits' there were 2 in the first test, both times he was late to it and the ball was shipped on beyond him, looks great on camera, but isnt a positive outcome for what he was aiming for.

The midfield hit looked amazing, but when you consider he's 25m behind play, and Beirne and conan had retreated to onside positions you start to realise how far behind the pace he was. Had there been a ruck he's out of the game totally. It was a positive result but absolute fluke.
Every fan, every pundit, every journalist (domestic and foreign) say he was good
It's literally just you and your software against the world

Agree to disagree comparatively their are few in the pack outside of Itoje, Genge Sheehan is put in a much higher bracket across the 3 games.

Do you think there is an element of you singling him out, due to him taking the only spot which could have been occupied by the only Welsh player on tour. Feels like an element of wanting to see what you want to see, in the context of injury fitness etc could others have done a better job, yes they probably could but that doesn’t mean he needs tearing down in every facet of the game.

Curry with a 9....

Actually, I even think that score is too high for him.

He was about a 7.5 for me. I've seen him have a lot better performances for England and Sale over the years. He was good and deserved his selection, but it wasn't at his absolute best.

Beirne and Itoje were the top performers, after Itoje went off Sheehans lineout fell to peices, otherwise he would be up there too.

Furlong, Genge, Mccarthy were superb, and Conan while unspectacular didnt make mistakes. Curry was down with Kelleher, and Earl performance wise.

Im not criticising him as a player, he's a top class openside and fully fit and on form he would 100% deserve to start. But he's not, and he didnt. Go look at his last few games for Sale, he was off the pace, as he was on tour. In fact before the first test it was universally considered on these threads that he was the biggest loser in the pack, due to absent performances.

The idea im against Curry because he started over Morgan is also ludicrous, if you go and check the test 1 thread before the test I said id start VDF, due to Keefe not allowing a breakdown contest in a warm up game Morgan. I likened VDF to Beirne, underwhelming tour so far but would turn it on in the tests.

Im less worried about no Welsh tourists, than an unfit openside who is subbed off gassed with props on 55 mins. Im not slating his effort, or his qualities, but if we are all honest with ourselves, his selection was made pre tour, because on tour he offered little to nothing pre tests, and was ok at best first 2, poor in the 3rd.

If you go re watch, you'll see him miss tackles, give away penalties, and wander around for extended periods hands on hips. Thats not Curry, and its not the Curry I want to watch.

Should have gone to spec savers mate.

Sheehan banned for four games (three after tackle school)

Tbf it's pretty immaterial - Aus won the game anyway, and Sheehan was never gonna play the opening rounds of the season

Absolutely fair.

Dunno what you get him for but White definitely deserved something for starting a fight within yards of a seriously injured player. I know some of it is part of the fame and I don't mind it but there's a time and place where players just need to stop and walk away.
