3rd test - Australia v British & Irish Lions

A bit embarrassing for the BBC

I mean....he's playing through a bad injury (I repeatedly said he shouldn't even be on the tour)
It was clearly pre planned substitutions based around that when you look at the make up of the bench and the timing of the subs
Earl and Morgan are both opensides

Don't know what more to tell you, you've got some weird hate boner and can't objectively look at the situation

See your complaining i hate him, but you refuse to acknowledge my stance that he's a top class player who is injured, but then also acknowledge he is injured.

All this bluster about him being brilliant is laughable, he's one of the worst performing forwards, alongside Kelleher.

He shouldn't be on tour, hasn't performed on tour, and despite being injured and not performing pre test 1 he was selected to start all 3, performing worse each time, it baffles me that a coach with players like VDF or Morgan would keep selecting an injured player, who is gassed by half time. Me pointing this out isnt hate, its factual.

I actually think the biggest loser on this lions tour is Andy Farrell, his stock will have dropped badly after a poor squad selection, poor strategy, poor in game management, poor player management, and test selection being seemingly pre tour.

Just to back you up, Earl's started 147 professional rugby matches. More than 100 of them at OSF

Earls isnt a 7, he's a weird hybrid backrow / 12. Well i should say he's not a successful 7.

I like Earls but he's one of those players that just plugs gaps, he's a bit of a jack of all trades but master of none

A lot of it was using the Sheehan example to back up the idea that the refs always favour the Lions, Australia were robbed and the Lions series win has an asterisk because of it.
I think part of the issue is it got lost because of halftime. I'm not sure what the rules are regarding the TMO going back for foul play during halftime.

It also didn't help that the TMO stopped the game for a supposed deliberate knock on by Australia and it turned out White didn't even touch the ball.

I don't think it's bias, it rarely is, but it's always frustrating when something that obvious is missed, especially when shown on highlights yet less important things get picked up. In general TMO didn't have a great day.

Do we even know it got missed, or did the TMO decide there was enough mitigation to not warrant a penalty? Probably the former tbf.

Ah, so all of this was just rage bait, that makes a lot more sense

If that's what unclenches your pearls you can think that way...

Amazing that not one person has produced any real counter to the argument though, just criticisms of the premise, hell of a trend on these boards.

You don't have to come on here, surprised you have the time anyway with running that Wall Street trading company and that property empire

Or...

You could not be so emotional over a banine comment that an openside flanker isnt fully fit, injured and isnt playing well, to have to go on personal attacks and dog piling as is your tendency.

Take a breathe, put your bare feet on some grass, and remember this is online discussion, it shouldn't get you so upset.

The difference is bud most on here come in with ideas and thoughts but are prepared to really listen to others thoughts and be open to insights and things they may not have seen that just isn’t you, every point you make comes across as a hill your prepared to die on and only value your own view.

Wasn’t VDF coming back from injury and whilst had a descent season hasn’t been near the player he was a couple of seasons ago?

When was I being emotional?

Thats a valid point, I have changed my mind on certain performances and other things that happened on tour, those comments are there, but they are lost amongst conversation so noone sees them.

I've asked time and time again what Curry has done that is good, but the only thing returned is derision, insults and faux shock that someone can state the fact he's injured, not fully fit and playing like it.

I agree with VDF BTW, he is a bit jaded, but anlot of Irish players seem similar, im not sure if theyre tired, but Kelleher, JGP, Conan, Aki, Hansen all look a little off, while others have been hampered by injuries.

I feel like this Lions tour might be a hugely negative impact on the Irish team
