Yeah but argument for penalty only TBH.Carley controlled that well.
Not the worst call though.

Out of 12 pens conceded 8 have been defensive, so yes I agreeI know it's kicking Wales while their down, but they should be on a team warning for penalties now.
And with Ireland up next you could be looking at an average of a point a match. If Wales end up 2 losses from 2, with 3 points scored....
What I meant at that point was he stopped playing immediately and calmed down potential handbags.Yeah but argument for penalty only TBH.

It's not like we are blaming the player for looking poor, he's doing his best in a situation that he simply shouldn't be in. Edwards already looking a step up in class, surely you can see that?I refuse to blame a 10 playing out of position
Of course I do. Wanted Edwards to start all along. We've still done nothing in attack though because our shape is all over the placeIt's not like we are blaming the player for looking poor, he's doing his best in a situation that he simply shouldn't be in. Don't get me wrong, until this game I don't think Gats was the issue, but selecting Thomas over and over regardless of how bad he is, the idea Tompkins is anything other than foder, the leaving of Llewellyn out, and Anscombe and we need him gone...Don't disagree with you, but it's all on Gats for me. I refuse to blame a 10 playing out of position in a backline that doesn't have a clue what they're doing. It's a selection and coaching issue, plain and simple. Blaming Thomas is passing thr buck.
The sad part is we would deserve itAnd with Ireland up next you could be looking at an average of a point a match.
He hasn't had a platform yet tbfOf course I do. Wanted Edwards to start all along. We've still done nothing in attack though because our shape is all over the place
Coming back from injury or head knock I think. How is Wainright not the first payer on the team sheet.

I think Italy are looking like a very good, disciplined team, doing exactly what the established 6N sides did to them in the past. Keep it simple, win collisions and the tight, decent set piece, take points on offer and build a lead. That puts pressure on Wales, hunt the inevitable mistakes, play territory and try to go when it's on.The weather is keeping this below a 40 point loss. Italy haven't been great, missed kicks etc. but are still cruising in appalling weather!
