[2025 Six Nations] Italy vs Wales - 08/02/25

I usually back the underdogs and given that Welsh rugby has been beaten up badly in recent times I hope our Welsh cousins get the W. I hope the battle is won up front with a couple of maul tries and penalties so that Howley rightly gets no credit.

Am I totally wrong to find the thought appealing for an epic, emotionally-charged clash and the potential repercussions that may follow it?

😇
Hopefully we've sacked Gatland, Howley and Humphreys by then, kept Bomb, and installed AWJ as head coach with Mike Phillips as backs coach to make it extra emotional.

Joking aside, does anyone really think that if we had AWJ, Bomb and anyone of Warburton, Biggar, insert random ex wales player here, they would do worse than Gatland? I honestly don't think we would and that would be with them being thrown in straight away.

I will be supporting Wales, England and Scotland.

I'm just creating a little fort behind the sofa - like watching Dr Who when I was 8!

I'm including dog treats & toys, in the hopes of bribing them to support me.

I've got Wales, France and Ireland in my treble. Pays out at 5/1. 🤣

The two of us at 4.15pm when our bets are dead:

Sure look, I don't always get predictions right but when I do, I tell people.

FFS. Gatland has taken the one thing I was looking forward to seeing (Rogers at full back) away from me and started Murray there.

Did I hear correctly this is the first time Italy will have started a 6N fixture as favourites? See how they deal with that. I didn't think they really fired a shot against Scotland. If Wales win it's not going to be a watershed moment as the problems remain the same. Win or loose I can see them beating England at home though.
