for one, we did beat NZ, SA and put 60 on the wallabiesOn what basis?
Fair enough but I disagree. We beat SA too, and Argentina, won the 6n last year. I think Argentina have a bit to prove before making that claim.for one, we did beat NZ, SA and put 60 on the wallabies
I don't think we're much better, but I do think we're better atm
but maybe next year we won't, you never know with us lol
Yeah I agree that we're not talking huge margins, luckily international rugby is extremely competitive these daysFair enough but I disagree. We beat SA too, and Argentina, won the 6n last year. I think Argentina have a bit to prove before making that claim.
It's slim margins. I think Crowley had a string of sub par games from England in last year's 6n to Argentina. The first half of his Argentina game the only real positive in that stretch. He was very ball shy otherwise.I also think Crowley should be selected as a starter for Ireland for a while. For one, he's put in the work and hasn't had a single bad game. Lad's earned it

He needs another go though and looks a more confident player in his cameos lately. , and would have been more suited to the game yesterday after Lowe pulled out.
Two 10s learning their trade on the job is very unusual after having had Sexton being one of the world's best from about 2014 to 2023.
I wonder if he'll be the same player, I doubt it. It's the same knee he did in 2018.Confirmed as an ACL. He's not walking that off for next week. See him play again next year.
Well, his speed of thought gives him the first yard over most anyway. His skills give him the ability to leverage that yard for others. The explosive speed is just the icing on the cake allowing him to actually do more himself.I wonder if he'll be the same player, I doubt it. It's the same knee he did in 2018.
I think Gardner said to Aldritt that TMO reviewed in background...? (And presumably seen nothing obvious)The fact that the incident was not reviewed by the referee makes the whole narrative about 'protecting players' the charade it is.

But I get your general point. The breakdown is a mess with almost everyone off their feet. What percentage of players in all breakdowns over the weekend can actually claim to have been supporting their own bodyweight on their feet? 5%? 10%?
I see some folks around the web citing Ireland specifically - but everyone does it. Otherwise they lose the breakdown, badly, and usually the game, badly.
Alldritt was literally telling Gardner what had happened and he was just ignored. What on earth was the TMO doing as well?. A lot of Irish fans are saying it was a "rugby incident" - no it wasn't, it was the direct result of an illegal clear-out, and players flying into rucks off their feet at speed. It wasn't an accident either, the end result may not have been intended, but the way Ireland have gone into rucks for years has meant that something like this happening has been inevitable. Ireland were too busy trying to play French players off the ball yesterday. They were horrible, cynical and crossed a line. I felt like Gardner was very lenient on Ireland and harsh on France for a lot of the game.I wonder if he'll be the same player, I doubt it. It's the same knee he did in 2018.

You are so confidently wrong, it's impressive.Alldritt was literally telling Gardner what had happened and he was just ignored. What on earth was the TMO doing as well?.
