[2025 Six Nations] Ireland vs England - 01/02/25

Irish ball handling has been atrocious, 17 handling errors so far according to the stats

Overall a very intriguing first half rugby.

England looked good for most part. The results have not been going their way the last year, but these performances will eventually lead to wins. Hopefully including this game. With a strong bench I'm hoping they don't fall off in the last 20.

You know what it's for, they tell you on the telly. If you disagree say it, don't drive around the house in a little car.
Tad aggressive as a response.
Are you aware that not everyone listens to the commentary?
Whilst some watch in pubs/clubhouses, or may have been out of the room / distracted for the relevant 5 seconds

England have been pretty good both sides of the ball. Lineout has wobbled. The Curry's are playing well but I don't see what advantage they've brought starting in that first 40.

Still giving away too many penalties. But the way we're playing reminds me of South Africa. Which is no bad thing considering they are the best team in the world.

Turnovers. Curry's have been good. But yeah, the lack of line out options discussed prior to the game is an issue.

If Steward is the last man of defense you know the opposing team is going to score. He has a lot of strengths, but having a fullback who can't make a tackle one on one each and gets skinned each time is an issue.

Need to click early, if we do think we should win with our bench but if we don't could be a bad start.

Any fullback would struggle one v one vs either of the Irish trio of Lowe, Gibson-Park or Hansen.
