[2025 Six Nations] France vs Wales - 31/01/25

Lost best forward in 3 mins, lost 12 in 9 mins lol
Yeah, whilst we were never going to win, it's a shame it's gone that way, but highlights the lack of depth in the chosen squad.

Llewelyn and Anscombe not being here is a massive mistake, Gats could have had a 9-10-12 who have playing chemistry at a good level. It just makes no sense. Also think Rio Dyer not being included is odd even if Rodgers has done alright.

The funny/sad thing is that we've actually played pretty well by our standards. Clueless in attack but, you know, Howley.
Let's not get it started...

Ben Thomas has kicked poorly, passed poorly, and when Edward's cam on Thomas still took kicking responsibility hahaha

Well done Howley

I 90% agree with you, except for Roger's, he's been a highlight.

I know DuPont is class there's no doubt about it but how commentary are making out he's never made a mistake is unreal, first 5 mins he took a quick tab nd was held up.
I think commentators do it for the casual audience. They have to make it clear to the casual fan that Dupont is a great player, even if on that particular day he is having a shocker.
It was the same in tennis. Roger Federer could be shanking all his backhands and missing all his first serves, yet the Wimbledon commentators would be waxing lyrical about him.

It's not like he's had a shocker this game at all...

So France most points scored vs Wales is 51 and winning margin also 51 (surprisingly France's best records against Wales are away). Assuming the 2nd half is identical to the 1st, they will beat both.

Then you should know the only way to prevent the ball travelling forwards on the pitch is to throw is backwards faster than the player is running forwards. Also you should know if you've played "elite" rugby that the criteria is if the ball goes backwards relative to the player when thrown, not relative to the pitch.

If you are an elite rugby playing physicist then you should know both of these, apparently you don't.
What are you banging on about?

11.7 of World Rugby. A forward pass is defined as a pass that moves the ball towards the opposing team's dead-ball line.

And it hasn't been interpreted that was in absolutely ages. As shown, you could literally throw the ball over your head and still have it travel forwards, in no sensible world is that a forward pass... But you've decided to dig your heels in and cry about the ref so I'll leave you to it.

EDIT and add to that you lied about what 11.7 said.

Who's crying?

Wales are being beaten up front by a pack much heavier and more powerfull than it, being dominated at the breakdown, and executed against...

But a pass 5m forward is indeed a forward pass lol

I just wanted to see some small improvement tonight. The welsh attacking shape, sharpness and confidence is still a huge huge concern.
