The Irish nation is holding its breath waiting for Galthie to condemn Mauvaka's reprehensible actionā¦ā¦.Great result for France ! We showed great resilience and that is really a new thing for us in this tournament (minus the english game). The scots played us well but I think there was a lot more pressure on that french team and this explains our comme ci comme ca first 50 minutes. But then we started to play with more composure and sense and we won rather comfortably at the end. If are succeeding in weavering low periods like yesterday and able to come back without crumbling, then this would be quite new for the french national team. Overall, a deserved ***le, it was important for this generation to do it
I see a lot of rant against the referee, wont comment much as I have ranted massively in the past. The Mauvaka incident needs some other angles to understand exactly what he was targetting. Yes it looks bad at first sight, it looks being outside the game and just retaliatory for....mmmh...nothing as the scot player is being pushed by a french player. But then it would be interesting to understand if Mauvaka was thinking that the game was still on at that moment and he did it to stop the player to get up (possibly yes in a mean way). For me, he is targetting the should first then it slips to the head, the scot player is adding to the drama. Anyway, seeing the solid reaction of the french team on the second half, is a red would have changed the face of the game ? I'm not sure about that. As said, France seem to have found this new ability to not crumble anymore psychologically...and they could have yesterday seeing how the scots were keeping in range and playing well
Agree with all that genuinely think more is being made of the incident than is warranted, for me it was no worse reaction to what we see multiple times a game, just happens to have got his angles slightly wrong and the optics look terrible rather than a bit of hand bags, there is certainly an argument that it could have been a red and White seriously injured but he wasn't and I think the head contact was minimal and completely unintentional.Great result for France ! Your delusional if you think that is in any way comparable, he thought white had jumped on him rather than Ramos pushing him and reacted by trying to give him a bit of shoulder to the body treatment, he got it wrong and did escape what could easily be a red and was reckless but to say this behaviour isn't fairly normal just with damming optics due to getting the angles a bit off and making what appeared to be (whites reacon aside) fairly minor contact.Angles for what? The whistle had gone and the ball wasn't there.
Pretty much a petulant reaction.

By that logic, this was someone "trying to wrap and getting his angles wrong".
Your making this out of be a unique incident which doesn't occur most games, main difference being he makes Contact with the head, take that out of the occasion for a second and would you not agree it's a bit rife currently? You seem to be taking it in context of something done during play, which it wasn't.
He's on the floor, and at best gets onto his knees to launch himself.
None of that constitutes a technical issue.
