[2025 Six Nations] France vs Scotland - 15/3/25

Scotlands bench has been quite scarily thin on form talent this year. Probably made worse by the French Irish and English benches being very strong.

Some french media are saying we'll cut scottish team in two parts. It's harsh a bit but I don't see how scottish escape the french claws.

The only game France lost was by a point and tbh they probably couldn't have played much worse in that opening half. I don't see how Scotland win short of France ******** the bed again.

France are obviously the better team anyway, but from years of watching overly emotional Irish performances it will be interesting to see where the performance level is this week after they put so much into last week.

If this was week two or three, I'd be more confident of a French slip for the reasons you've stated, but being the last round and the championship on the line, there's a lot riding on it, so I doubt they'll be lacking motivation.

Treated to some descent commentary here BK the only genuinely descent one about.

The bag pipes ane definitely dreary without Scottish fans blasting it out.
I think the fans did alright but the crowd mics and audio mix was poor.

Also latency issues between the mics for the team, the piper and stadium.

Union hasn't quite mastered the League style audio compression either.

Nice touch from France to let Scotland have their bagpiper on the roof. Touch of political decorum (cough cough trump cough cough)
I wasn't paying much attention but wasn't there a hint of "relationship, cooperation and respect" speech before the anthems too? I wasn't paying full attention at the time so I may be mistaken.
