Half watched the first half at work and picked it up at 52 min. How bad did we go?

By all accounts we didn't play well but I dod see some good defence in the last 30, bar that great line that got the last(kickless, game winning) try.

I mean Lawrence throwing it away in the first half at the end, he recycles instead and we had momentum going half time ahead, that's 7 right there more than 3 missed conversions so the what ifs are daft.

We did not play well(we played much better vs Ireland and France(second half)) but we stuck in it, kept pushing and this team last year would have folded.

Not a great performance but we stayed in it, I mean how do Ireland feel after almost being turned over by Wales, the pressure was on vs a massively motivated opponent and we came out ahead. I'm not taking alot away from it but I'll enjoy the win and on to the next.

Just like I said. Scotland put to the sword….i just didn't realise it would be their own sword. Well the only thing to do now is grab Russell and England shirt, give the Calcutta Cup a thorough clean, and enjoy the sounds or crying Scotsman.

England played some really good rugby in the second half but after every good play they either don't resource the ruck, knock the ball on or give a penalty away.

We are so nearly there.

How England won that I don't know. We didn't play well in any facet of the game. Scotland shot themselves in both feet really. Having said that, after 5 long barren years it feels sweet to regain the Calcutta Cup. We were much poorer than we'd been in the first two games and parts of the performance really worried me but this team is still learning how to win.

LCD, Randall and Slade have surely got to be off to the glue factory, they've done almost nothing of note in the positive column

feel a bit short-changed by that match. First half Scotland could/should have been looking at a BP the way it was going.

Englands first try was never grounded, a real shocker by world rugby to let that slip it doesn't look good.

Finn R was much better ball in hand, the kicking is a real disappointment he's never been that poor from the tee and usually is safe enough.

The scrum was poor, seemed to get on the wrong end of it all game.

England were dreadful first half, soft and not at all aggressive enough. Second half the defence was tougher and Scotland lost all momentum with no answer or means to get it back.

Strange match overall, was really hoping for better the quality was very low.

Jeez that was bad....but by heck I love seeing all the sweaties whining about losing to an England team playing THAT bad!! Ha ha ha.

England need to use the Summer tour very wisely and find some players in certain positions. Oh and a tackling coach..the number of 1v1s that were missed is inexcusable at this level.

Regardless you'd expect a professional scrum half to be able to complete the odd box kick. It's surely one of the basic things a 9 needs to have in their locker.
