[2025 Six Nations] England vs Scotland - 22/02/25

Amazing what can happen if we actually try running with teh ball (awful final offload, but a great break.)

What are the odds we go back to aimless kicking in the second half?

Reality is that I can only see us winning this if we outscore Scotland and I don't see that happening.

Defence has been an issue for a while. Jim Hamilton pointed it out that since the Autumn, England have looked vulnerable defensively and yet all Borthwick talks about is attack. You're not going to win at this level with a leaky defence and it's not improving.

It's been exposed plenty but Scotland were always going to play the style which tears it apart which is probably why they have won the last 4 against us whilst doing little more notable.

Different looking Scotland with ball, time and space, the wide passes are beautiful to see. The forwards are getting much better go forward compared to v Ireland. Should really have another score or two IMO.

There's been a lack of intensity accross the park. Somehow England are still in it. The on going theme for me across 2.5 games of this 6N is England loose momentum and don't seem to have any ideas on how to wrestle it back, kicks to nothing, can't keep hold of the ball etc.
