[2025 Six Nations] England vs Italy - 9/3/25

Enjoying the game as it's a bit disorganised and that makes it quite exciting. Will England lose? Possibly but so what

Isn't it telling that every single match we watch the Refs are all poor, and none can consistently run a match without glaring errors or perceived bias?

It's not their fault

ENG complaining about the referee in a game against ITA
I have seen it all

Don't predict anything good for Italy for the second half but...this first one was pure beauty.
And someone had doubts about Italy being T1?....
Is that a thing? Italy have been improving visually for a few years now, if any team is questioned its wales now surely?

Yeah Brace isn't biased, he's just **** and England are notoriously awful at adapting to ref interpretations. Having said that, hard to adapt to a ref who makes it up as he goes.
Don't presume malice on what can be explained by being Belgian.

I don't understand why we don't do drop goals anymore. We frequently get into the 22, nothing is on, we force it, get turned over. Repeat until momentum changes.

Fin is smith, Finn is russell. At least get that right.
Which is why I used the expression 'said'; they're homophones, you see.

It's the unnoticed intricacies which make the joke. ANd Russell has a capital R. At least get that right... ;)

I'm going to cut England some slack today, but only for today.
Between the Lawrence injury, and the Brace effect - it's got to be tough to build up any momentum

That second Italy try is a definite contender for try of the tournament. It was a thing of beauty

Said it before, but other teams like Italy are improving while England are just staying stagnant. Games like this will happen as a result.

Entertaining 1st half. Some lovely tries.

Feels like we are missing some umph in the backs with Lawrence going off injured early.
