[2024 Six Nations] France vs Ireland - 02/02/24

It was but didnt he also get a hand on the ball? Only seen 2 angles though.

And did it get pulled back sfter the pen was kicked?(to touch), i thought it was it after kicked?
Yes, both of those things are true.

Great hold up by Lowe there, took the sting out of France.

It's one of the rules I hate in rugby union. Held up in the air, fine it's a maul. But then the maul being brought down and players not having to roll away just seems mad to me.

Maybe the law has been changed? I mean i know now you can take a conversion but the try can still be overturned so maybe.
It was only a rule for a brief period of time, I think 2019 to 2022. I don't think there was every anything about a kick to touch outlawing a review.

Nice oppertunity for Ireland to waste another 2 mins

Almost no kicking this half, borthwicks spreadsheet must be on fire
What are you talking about? They aren't kicking...Borthwicks Englend would destroy them both...obviously because you win because you know...kicking

Without Dupont France are looking pretty average. Ireland simply better all round.
