2023-2024 transfers

It wouldn't surprise me. Seems to be a lot of the All Blacks are heading off same time. So JTA has only really been playing second string games as he played Prem Cup but not league and was banned for striking a Sarries player after back chat. His wife was back in NZ and said along the lines of, will be glad to do this more when home. Also important to note with Ryan in we have Koch, Ryan, Alo (signed new deal last year), Scholtz, JTA and Millar-Mills.

So we have so far:

In: Vincent Koch (THP), John Ryan (THP), Kiran McDonald (Lk), Burger Odendaal (C), Immanuel Feyi-Waboso (C)
Out: Thomas Young (FLR), Vaea Fifita (FLR/LK), Jimmy Gopperth (FH/C), Malaki Fekitoa (C)

Contract Extensions: Biyi Alo, Roger Martinez, Tom West, Zac Nearchou, Rob Hardwick, Pietro Turrisi, Fyn Brown, Olly Hartley, Ollie Dawkins

Rumoured: Will Haydon Wood (To be confirmed by seems pretty dead cert now leaked), few other rumours floating but not much set in stone.
Ryan is a decent LHP too so can do job both sides. Not dynamic but will be excellent business and I don't think he will be on a huge wage.

I thought Bristol were in the middle of a 'fire sale'?

Ibitoye should fit in well at Bristol.

James Williams confirmed by Bears as well

Been playing almost exclusively at 10 since leaving us, I think
Which one of Sheedy or Eden is off, you reckon?

Bristol have signed a full BUCS front row.
Martin Mulhall - loosehead (Swansea)
Fred Davies - hooker (Durham)
Rhys Charalambous - tighthead (Leeds Beckett)

Sale confirm FDK and LDJ are off

FDK must be a sad one the guy has been their figurehead since arriving.
LDJ has also really grown into the club imo started showing his worth but really too late.

Hill is a good replacement, personally I think sale will miss FDK a lot

Yeah, not surprising but still very sad

Faf has been massive for us, in terms of on field, recruitment, media attention, sponsor attention, everything - it's a shame this season has been a flop compared to last and he couldn't go out on a high

True. I enjoyed watching Faf and I think he's been good for the Premiership, but from an England POV, I'm excited to see Quirke getting the chance to establish himself as a starter.

I'm more interested in that great looking scrum half Richard Wigglesworth, he's looked much better than Youngs and JVP. Hopefully he gets picked for England soon.
Un-ironically would rather have Dick Wiggle for England than Youngs atm
Think he fits EJs gameplan better
