[2021 Six Nations] Scotland vs Ireland (14/03/21)

No knock on there but my god Lowe needs to really step up to the hype. For all the talk of Larmpur/Earls being poor he has been awful this championship defensively

I thought it was legal in real time. Lowe might have kept it in though for Russell.

Hogg RN
Rees-Zammit gif sweeps social media after Wales win- Rugby World

Dominant scrum, dominant line out, dominant in the contact area, crushing the territory stats.... and down by 2. Magic.

edit: cancel the dominant scrum

For dropping a ball lashed at him? Come on. He covered well and got unlucky. He's been excellent, you just have it in for him.
We will just have to disagree bit seems all commentators think same as me.
Don't have it in for him just pointing out he has been terrible defensively. If you disagree fair enough but evidence is there

Also Hogg didn't stop because he thought it was a knock on, he was pulled back by Gibson-Park, which should have been a penalty if not scored.

Maybe,
You're allowed to tackle a player who's juggling the ball - he was grasping at him before the kick,
Think it'd be harsh to penalise him for not realising the knock on turned into a kick

From the very little I've read head/chest doesn't matter. Unless there's a loosing possession arguement.

Knock-on: When a player loses possession of the ball and it goes forward, or when a player hits the ball forward with the hand or arm, or when the ball hits the hand or arm and goes forward, and the ball touches the ground or another player before the original player can catch it.

Just so some you are satisfied ;)
