Possibly, but you could argue that's what Daly is there for and he's been a pleasant surprise so far.

Very meh on Daly. He hasn't got the passing range of the other two and definitely not as good a defender. Still a strike runner just a different type really.

Would have looked to include either ahead of Aki really.

Honestly I'm still convinced the plan was Biggar/Farrell but if Farrell **** the bed as much you guts have said (I've been busy every Lions game so haven't watched one yet) which is aocntinuation of form he shouldn't be playing.

Yeah you could be right there. I'd say Wyn Jones impressed in the scrum last night and won a turnover over the ball if I recall correctly. He had the SA TH on toast but it wasn't Malherbe.

I had really been hoping Simmonds would be making more of the Lions series but so far, excluding 1 break against a club side, I've not seen him really doing anything of note. Pretty disappointing.

Now he's actually playing, have to say it I've no idea if its Gats or someone in his background staff but under his command attitudes towards player welfare are appalling. AWJ should not be playing this shortly for whatever reason after a dislocation combine that with the North concussions and I hope that whoever is responsible this is their last hurrah. Someone is going to be long lasting effects from playing under them at some point if it continues.
