[2020 Six Nations] Ireland vs Wales (08/02/20)

Definitely feel Wales have had the rub of the green on ref decisions. Be shame if that's the difference at the end.

Ireland need to be far more clinical though. 5 points for amount of territory and possession is not good enough.

This time can we please not try keeping it up front where we've consistently been turned over?

The one time we went to the backs we scored straight away.

Edit: nevermind haha

Biggest worry for me is Healy and Furlong Furlong don't look as destructive anymore. And our frontrow are not what is needed. Neither playing awful and not a case of questioning their places just we need them to get that explosiveness back

Yeah, Furlong really looked like he lacked explosiveness there. ;)

You hate to see it

Enjoying this game, weirdly as both teams are making weird, uncharacteristic errors. Ireland playing well with the kicking and playing in the right areas. Wales much more likely to bring magic.

Biggar doing his laces, sexton taking ages at restarts. Are they having some sort of competition?

Agree 100% on this. Kilcoyne and Porter have looked best for a while. A swap wouldn't do any harm, although Furlong has really licked thinfs up the last few weeks.

I'm actually very happy with this so far, the lads look like they're enjoying the rugby they're playing and that's great compared to last year.

Still think Wales will nick it.

This forward offload game is new for Wales. Enjoying watching them try to develop it. Worked for the one try, maybe tried it a bit too much there.

Conway really playing well, shows the benefits of getting form players into the team.

Really hearing the wind on the crowd microphones.
Noticed the ball was making a bid for freedom earlier too whilst Bigger was thing his laces

Wales passing is so flat. Possibly wrong side of flat, but hey ho.

Sexton has been right about most of the things he's complained to Ppite about but he doesn't do it in a way that inspires sympathy at all.
